Amazing dinner!

Premise: I'm a foodie and I'm Italian. I lived in China, i travelled around the world, i lived in Amsterdam where I ate in stars Michelin restaurants. Said so, i can tell in this restaurant i had one of the best dinner of my life....It was a complete sensorial experience while trying the main courses! I had kufta with tahini, qalayet bandora and camel meat kebab, and honestly i can't say which one I liked the most! The quality and expertise of the cook, i could feel it in every bite! Not only you can find unique traditional Jordan food, but really you will enjoy incredibly tasty dishes that will give you a satisfied palate all evening long!More

Couldn't find better than this restaurant!

We ordered diffetent kinds and all were absolutely beautiful... Best we've had in petra, the BBQ is super tasty,(Traditional Mansaf) is also served here which was amazing, The staff were really helpful and friendly and made our visit a lovely one. Highly, highly recommended..More

Best local food in petra

Excellent address for eating local food

One of the best places to eat in this area. If you are a tourist and you are staying in one of the hotels in the area, I recommend you to choose this address. The food is delicious, fresh and full of flavor. The specialties...are meats and vegetables cooked on the grill. Simple elements but very well prepared and cooked. The prices are correct compared to other places in Petra.More

Great food and service!

We really enjoyed our meal and the service was second to none! I asked where I could find a local sweet and they picked it up and brought it to my table. They also have the best tea in town! I highly recommend the chicken...kabobMore

Best food in Petra!

We asked our hotel manager where he would recommend we have dinner and he advised that Abu Elias was his favourite and that we should try the assorted mazza and mansaf (this dish isn’t on the menu) which we did. We can attest to this...being the best restaurant we’ve eaten at in Petra and would highly recommend you come here. There are a lot of tourist trap restaurants with heaps of reviews and average food at best, but Abu Elias puts them all to shame!!! We were served by Omar Hamadeen & we would like to thank him and the chef for a wonderful dining experience! It was so good we came back for lunch the next day.More
