The breakfast is awesome. If you want something different than every morning humus, this is the place to be. the breakfast restaurant at the main entrance of Petra are more expensive and you just get one yoghurt and 1 juice. Here you've got everything. Don't hesitate.

Good food, great service!

Excellent food and service I had breakfast in the guesthouse In the restaurant but our server Khaled was exceptionally very good and provided really first class service when choosing my meal but he handled an unexpected shortage of required dish in a very professional manner. My meal was excellent pie dish really delicious and main course eggs and sausage really very nice with some excellent flavors. Thank you very much Khaled also for providing such a rich variety of breads I will return to this restaurant as the service was far above average and the overall experience was very positive

Great Location, Food, and Service

We stayed at the Guest House for three nights and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning at the Aloe Vera Restaurant. The food was very good with many western and Jordanian options. Omar and the rest of the staff were very attentive and customer focused. We would definitely visit the restaurant and hotel again.

Great food and incredible service

I’m currently staying at the Petra Guest House and each morning we have breakfast at the Aloe Vera Restaurant. Omar greets everyone guest warmly and is extremely attentive and remembers all the little details of your past visits. They serve a traditional Arabic breakfast with delicious teas and juices. Every detail is spot on! Breakfast is served early so you can eat and start your trek to Petra

I love the ambiance of this restaurant and the staff is amazing. Omar greeted us and was so very accommodating even helped me when I had trouble getting a food item. Super pleasant and the food is very food & well prepared. It is a clean restaurant and overall the hotel is professional & outstanding.

Ahmed and the staff working with him were very accommodating to our party of five. Ahmed enabled our party to dine out on the patio for dinner and provided very attentive service throughout the meal to ensure that everything was presented perfectly. He anticipated and attended to every need.

After the Petra highlights an oasis of comfort and nice treats

The restaurant offers an extensive breakfast buffet from the very early hour of six in the morning what is enjoyable when you want to start your visit to the park early. The staff is pleasant and very attending, and if you wish, you can even have made your pancakes or have your eggs made any style! The restaurant serves also the Cave Bar and terrace of the hotel, what is pleasant when you want to have diner in the bar or outside at the best terrace in town. They have a nice menu and we enjoyed the local dishes.

Arrived after the opening hours after visiting Petra By Night, at 10:05pm, they let us eat anyways. Waiter: very nice, they have a great buffet and good wine, a local Sauvignon Blanc. I would totally recommend this place Riccardo Righini Modena - Italia

The restaurant offered a wide variety of breakfast options but what stood out the most was the amazing staff/service. Omar (waiter) was extremely pleasant and attentive. He remembered how I liked my tea each morning which made me feel like a valued customer. The woman at the omelet/crepe station was a delight as well. Always greeting me with a smile and provided well made omelets every morning.

Post Petra Happy Hour

After many hours exploring the Ancient City of Petra I was desperate for a quick beer - even though beer etc. is not easy to find, or afford, in Jordan - long story short, popped into Aloe Vera and my barkeep Abood absolutely hooked me up! Two beers and some Arak for something resembling the price it would be back home (a minor miracle in these parts)...and even some complimentary chips and yogurt! If you're headed back to your hotel after the ruins, or to the Cave Bar, do yourself a favor and stop here for a round first!!

Pleasant service, pleasant space

I have been traveling to Petra a couple of times this year for work, and have stayed in Petra Guest House for more than 1.5 month in total. Breakfast at Aloe Vera Restaurant has been pleasant each morning. The staffs are attentive yet without excessive service, food is good, and the dining space comfortable. I like it that they change the types of bread and pastry each day so that guests staying at the hotel for a long period of time can try something new each morning.

Wonderful restaurant, both food and service

We stayed at the Petra Guest House and had dinner here twice. A wonderful buffet was served and our server, Alawabat, was so friendly as well as attentive with bringing us our selection of wine both evenings. We highly recommend both the restaurant and the hotel for visits to Petra

Varied and delicious breakfast buffet with very nice and attentive staff

The staff is immensely kind and friendly. The chef at the omelette station took the time to describe to me how they make my favorite dish at the buffet, makdous. They have a wonderful variety of dips, hot buffet dishes like eggs potatoes and meats, as well as an omelette and pancake station, and the very expansive pastry section! Amer was especially attentive to detail when serving us. I would definitely come back here again.

We had breakfast here and Salah and Amer were very attentive and helpful. Salah made a great cappuccino and Amer prioritized bringing customers anything they needed - water, butter, etc. Highly recommended!
