When in Maun for holiday to visit the Okavango delta, we always return to this lovely restaurant. We have good memories from our last visits and are always looking forward to eat here again and curious what Hilary's cooking and baking. Apart from the standard...menu (sandwiches, salads etc) Hilary cooks different, tasty lunches daily and there is always a vegetarian option with lots of veggies. The cakes are freshly baked, moist and delicious. Looking forward to eat here again. I wish she would make a cookbook.More

We were recommended to Hilary's by a colleague. This restaurant is like a hidden gem. The food is freshly made with a good selection of the standard favourites as well as daily specials. Well worth a visit.

There were so many good reviews and promising pictures that I told my husband we had to go and have breakfast there. When arriving we were met by a hostile waitress that ushered us to a table then tossed the menus at us. The menu...is very carb-loaded, lots of bread and muffins and such, I felt like fresh tomatoes, leaves, avocado would bring a freshness that it decidedly lacks. The muffin was stale and the rest of the meal was bland. We were being eaten alive my mosquitoes as well. The waitress was very rude and the food took a long time to get to us, my tea cold when it finally arrived. At the same time there were people doing maintenance making a huge noise and causing quite the ruckus. We felt unwelcome and disgruntled by the experience. The place has promise of pleasant ambience and refreshing location but it missed all the marks.More

After a long flight from Sydney to Maun. It was great to have some yummy healthy food and a juice at Hilary's. Highly recommended.

I have still not met anyone in Maun who can make homemade bread like Miss Hillary...oh and top that off with her homemade salad dressing! If "food art" was a place...then Hillary's would take the trophy! Healthy food too is their speciality... Service there is...impeccable and thank heaven s they make the most jaw dropping - mouth watering platters to cater for events (big and small)… Kudos to the owner and her 2 women Team :) Wish they opened Monday to Sunday! This little place has stood the test of time and has its loyal patrons :)More

Great coffee and breakfast menu. Fresh, great ingredients, wonderful patio, quiet and good service. Hillary has also catered a luncheon for our local organization and it was superior. Service for our staff and 12 guests from the States (25 people). Catering in March this year...and breakfast wherever we are in town in the morning.More

We had lunch here and had a lovely time with the gracious host Hilary and her staff. all the dishes served were great and service quick and friendly. Meals are prepared with fresh produce and the homemade limonade was great too! There is Wi-Fi which...was great after three weeks in the bush. Close to the airport but out of the rush of main Maun.More

First stop after flight from Johannesburg. Friendly service with an excellent menu. Daily specials with whatever was available in Maun at the time. Lots of fresh vegetarian options. Sat outside and enjoyed the weather. Free Wi-Fi

Lovelly spot for breakfast. Great food and close to the airport. Quiet as it's off the main road. We will certainly return on our next trip.

Hilary's is my go-to spot for lunch in Maun. Her food is homely, generously portioned, fresh and healthy. The biggest bonus- Hilary will find a solution for even the pickiest of eaters and can handle almost any dietary restriction!
