Beautiful food and amazing staff

My trip to mullingar included having a date here with my husband Mark and we will always remember Pasta Bella for their stunning layout of restaurant and incredibly friendly staff. Especially with the COVID-19 in the air their well in works with social distancing and hygiene. The food was delicious! I ordered the lasagna for main and it was heavily,!! The baked prawns with chilli for starter where Devine!! I had Chocolate fudge cake which was very delicious it melted in my mouth with flavour! My husband had a tiramisu which I am not a big fan off but here in Pasta Bella it was beautiful the flavours bounced around my mouth! Will always remember my trip here and definitely will be back soon as possible. ~ from Karen

I often go out to Pasta Bella for dinner with friends and/or family and was very excited when they opened back up for sit down. Absolutely fabulous food and staff are extremely friendly always checking on me and asking if everything is alright! I had garlic bread for starter and spaghetti marinara for main course and both were exceptional if I do say so myself. I had Affogato for dessert which isn’t on the menu but the waitress made it for me anyways and let me say I was very grateful! Co-vid measures had been taken very seriously and all staff wore protective masks and everything was very spaced out. I will be returning very soon to the relaxing and friendly atmosphere!

Highly recommended Restaurant

I dine here regularly because the food is great. There is a wide menu with lots of choices so I never get bored. It is also a great place to bring people with varying palates as there is definitely something to suit everyone, from pasta, pizza, fish, beef, chicken, etc. Rachid and staff are very friendly and helpful.

Terrible for dietary requirements

My partner is a Coeliac and we asked the waiter if they had options before we sat down and we were assured that they did even though we could not see any mention of allergies or gluten free options on the menu. When the food arrived we checked again and asked if the pasta was gluten free, we were told yes. After a couple of minutes the original waiter who took our order took the food back and said it was not gluten free. My partner had already started eating. She is currently in a bad way and suffering from a bad reaction. It was extremely unprofessional and the experience was horrible as they did not seem to be very concerned about the situation.

Great local restaurant

I was so impressed with my first visit, I went again the following week, and ended up waiting for nearly an hour for my main course after the starter.... I was very impressed with the range of menu, and quality of food as well as the portion size. It was not these huge portions many restaurants serve. When the pasta dish arrived, I actually thought it looked small as I was used to the unnecessarily big portions, but when I had it, it was just the perfect size leaving me feeling full and content, but not stuffed. It is very tasty and pasta cooked to al dente. They could improve on the dessert menu, but it's not bad either. I hope I won't have to wait as long for my dinner on my next visit. I would definitely have to try all the pasta on their menu! I can say the carbonara and Salmon pasta was delicious! I must try tomato sauce pasta next on my next visit.

Back to our usual spot last weekend after taking a few months break and can say am never let down! Food was amazing (as always) and service was really good we were seated upstairs next to a party (Much to the waitresses apologies as they were quite loud) but still was great as always! Can’t wait to return 😁😁

Lax with covid guidlines

Always love this pizza restaurant, always met with friendly welcome, nice decor, good food, lovely to return for sit down food. Staff had no face coverings/visors, there was not 2mtrs from other diners. Staff handed us our drinks, covering the top of the glass, with their hand, at the kitchen counter top, there is a stork tub with perhaps seasoning/parmesan in it, both servers contunually dipped their fingers into this tub and sprinkled over foods. Shall not return again I am sorry to say.

We are visiting Pasta Bella often, really missed their food during the Corona lockdown. So happy they re-opened for sit down. Food was delicious, cooked and seasoned to perfection. I recommend this restaurant to many friends and family and they keep going back for more. I think that says enough. Well done lads, keep up the good work..

The best food Mullingar has to offer! We come nearly every week, their seafood is always so fresh and they have a great variety of pizzas and pastas. Their tajines and the fillet of sole are a favourite. There is something for everyone and never have had a bad meal here!

Amazing!

Delicious! if you are looking for a relaxed ambience, attentive and friendly staff and out of this world fresh delicious food - cooked to order - go to Pasta Bella. We were there on 13 Feb 2022. On arriving, our first visit since pre covid, we were immediately greeted by the as always super friendly staff and the incredibly aromas. I had sea bass, my partner had steak and all the trimmings and it was totally amazing, everything cooked to perfection. Great to be back!

Lovely anniversary meal out

This is a lovely restaurant. We ate last night for our anniversary. Parking just outside and it’s easy to find. We were welcomed by a lovely young waitress who was friendly and polite. The food was great, we had the stuffed mushrooms and chicken fillets to start. My husband said the fillets was a bit small but tasty. We had two pasta dishes and lovely garlic bread. Also shared a banoffee pie for dessert which was fabulous. There was another waitress serving too and she was also very friendly and helpful. No complaints whatsoever with the food and the bill was pretty reasonable too. Only thing that spoiled it and made us hurry up and leave was the other diners. A group of 4 old ladies were put beside us and they were obviously drunk. It was embarrassing really. They made a complete show of themselves and disturbed other customers. They looked like the types that would tut tut at a table with chatty little kids or teens but in fact they were ten times worse. Awful women. Other than that it was a lovely meal out.

No covid safety measures

Food was very good, however service was extremely slow. Covid 19 safety measures were none existent, no social distancing.... tables set and used as previously. No face covering worn by any staff, no evidence of hand sanitizing, old menus still been used. Very disappointed with this experience... won’t be going back.

Hi The good food always take time to serve, I have 2 big stations of hand sanitising one in the front door and one at the back and there is more than 4 bottles around the restaurant, all the staff are wearing masks , menus are sterilised after every use so the tables , we try to do our best in this difficult time , we are all together on this ...

Lovely food

My husband & I visited the restaurant on the 13 th July & the food was beautiful. Portions are good & reasonable & great service. I had the Brie for starters & James had the mushrooms . James had the pizza for main which was delicious & I had the chicken & mushroom risotto which was very tasty . Lovely restaurant, great food & service & highly recommend.

The food here is excellent as ever - never had a bad meal and have been eating here for 15 years. Plenty of covid 19 protection measures- hand sanitisers. Plenty of distance between customers. Great wine list too and friendly staff.

Nice bistro food, but not very Italian.

Had a very pleasant meal, but it didn't feel or taste authentically Italian (mash and veg with main courses). Nevertheless, the food was lovely and the service was great. However, there were NO checks for vaccination passports on arrival, which made our party very uncomfortable. It's concerning not knowing whether you're sitting in a restaurant alongside unvaccinated diners, especially as we're all getting used to showing our vaccine passports everywhere. This would put me off returning.

Hi Rosemary, Glad you had a lovely meal. about the vaccination check we always make it clear to our customers when booking , then we scanne the vaccination passport in the restaurant, so might be a missed communication between staff in your case because they all have the scanner application.
