We spent one night in Kalambaka to visit the Meteora temples and looked for a place close to the hotel for dinner. We were very pleasantly surprised, from the food to the staff.
We shared bread with a spread of feta cheese and yogurt (galotiri) and then a tomato salad with cheese and olive sand (astiki salad) and a stuffed burger (stuffed burger). We washed it all down with a couple of glasses of house wine and they even gave us a couple of small ice creams for dessert.
The quality-price ratio was great (€38) and the waiter was super attentive and spoke good English. Totally recommended!

We (me and my boyfriend) were undecided about where to have launch in Kalambaka. While we were Reading the menu outside, the owner welcomed us very kindly so we took a table and eat moussaka and Lamb and greek sausages. Everything was well cooked and we liked everything so much. Plus, the toilet was in perfect condition and the music (jazz fusion) was appropriate and with a pleasant volume.

Not going back !
We went there with my family . The prices are low and for a reason. Clearly because the quality is low too. Not tasty salad with unwashed greens and poor main dishes like beef tagliata and lamb chops all with semi baked or fried fries and very sour tsatsiki. I don't remember the appetisers but it was a bad experience and we are not going back again for sure! Note that with almost empty tavern the service was very slow and we felt like they didn't take care us at all.

Local new, well-kept location and very nice.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Dishes of 10 and praise, all done to perfection.
Local cuisine with well assorted dishes.

After doing the Morning Tour through the Meteora Monasteries, we decided to get some lunch in Kalambaka.
Luckily, we came by Ambrosia, whose friendly but not pushy service convinced us to try the place.
We were rewarded with huge portioned delicious Burgers and Coleslaw and a free small dessert.
Would definitely visit the place again!

I had dinner in this place last week and it was an unforgettable experience. The waiters are polite people, one of them advised me which beer to drink and the food that had been prepared was superb. To conclude, they had offered an ice cream. It is a welcoming place.

Very tasty food with very friendly service! There are various daily dishes with a limited quantity, which means that the food is taken care of, a good sign in our opinion. This can also be tasted in the various dishes. We ordered a few starters together and they were all very successful! We would definitely return and recommend this restaurant

Very nice dishes delicious and delicious all of them and especially I would say. Very good service. Clean store quick service. The only thing that spoiled me and that's why I put 4/5 is the prices. The main dishes had normal prices but the appetizers and salads touched the prices of the main dishes and their quantities were not very large.

Very good service, nice location. Amazing food we got some starters and the salads were impressive as well as the cheeseballs. The meat was good and the quantities were adequate. They even have some kinoa plates for the ones not eating meat that are tasty.

There was something special about the atmosphere they created. The music was gentle, the waiters genuinely helpful, and the plates were beautiful. The food was delicious and affordable! Back in New Zealand you don’t get salads like you do here - definitely worth ordering!

This restaurant was recommended by our guide and it did not disappoint. The food and service were amazing. We took the recommendations for the mushroom stir-fry, grandmas potatoes, moussaka croquettes, and Greek salad. They did not disappoint. Price was very reasonable.

Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish, our waiter was extremely friendly and attentive. Food was delicious, home-made local dishes and the serving sizes were generous. We tried the local white and red wines and they were great. Complimentary ice-cream sticks for dessert. Can recommend!!

Very beautiful, warm and tasteful space, designed with care and taste that predisposes you to sit. The food we got is all very well cooked and tasty with a good variety on the menu. The dish we were most excited about was the moussaka croquettes. The kid who served us flawlessly. On our next visit to Kalambaka we will definitely go again.

This place only opened in May and deserves more recognition! Food was all incredible, we started with an amazing greek salad followed by a tasty Moussaka and pork souvlaki. Furthermore, the service was so friendly and helpful, all at great value. Definitely recommend coming if you’re visiting Meteora. PS this is a completely genuine review and didn’t want you to miss out (PPS aka I ain’t getting no free dessert for this)
