This is a cute restaurant with great ambience and a sense of quality and efficiency. We had the menu special with calamari entree and grilled fish mains. We found the service great and the prices very reasonable. We were given a range of breads as a starter and enjoyed the great flavours in the food.

I am sitting back in my chair right now with a full belly feeling completely satisfied. The seafood was delicious, quality, and came out fast. The bread was perfect for dipping in the seafood sauces of garlic and pepper. The service was attentive and quick. It is a little pricier than other restaurants but the proportions are big and we left with enough leftovers for another whole meal. I am content.

Excellent flavors but our pasta was overcooked. Took 60 minutes to get entree even though we arrived at opening but they gave free appetizer (our entree was dropped, we believe?). Could have been amazing on another night, ask for your pasta al dene.

Went here as trip advisor recommended and our initial impression was favourable with a friendly welcome, option of tables and helpful staff. At 9.30pm the restaurant was very busy and there was a nice atmosphere - we were happy with a table inside as their is air con. We could not fault the service our waiter was very good. Our food experience was more mixed. Of our 2 starters the prawns were not well seasoned and did not feel fresh though the mussels were very good. My partners main fish dish arrived cold which was immediately taken away and a new piece to fish arrived which was much better. My seafood casserole was average. Probably the standout was our fruit crumble with ice cream which we shared - pure comfort food and our wine was very good - we had a recommended Chardonnay which cost $12. I guess to sum up. Service 8/10 Ambience 8/10 and Food 6/10. Although our meal did not standout as good would give this place another chance. The damage. 4,300 Pesos for 2.

I was looking forward to this based on good reviews and change of pace from beef. The good part of this restaurant is their service. The wine was good too. They have nice selection of Argentine white wine to pair with seafood. The food was underwhelming, bland, not fresh, some were not edible. The mussels we had were not fresh. First bite not pleasant, second to double check, and that was it. Gambas al ajillo was lukewarm, tasted frozen shrimp and not fresh. The paella with octopus was decent but not anything to rave about. We did not get sick but the food was not good. Other patrons who seemed like they were enjoying their food were all eating fried seafood dishes. So maybe stick to fried stuff. I would not come back and would not recommend.

The atmosphere was nice and our waiter was friendly but the food was disappointing, as well as some shocking observations I made of the activity in the kitchen. Our appetizers were the best part of the meal, the ceviche was nice but the octopus was absolutely perfect. Its was so tender and the simple preparation with potato was spot on. However our main course (a huge platter of fish and shellfish) was very disappointing. Everything was overcooked. And the longer it sat on the hot platter the more overcooked it got. The top layer of shrimp, calamari and mussels were dried out within a couple of minutes of arriving at the table and by the time we moved them aside to be able to get to the salmon and white fish (sole?) below, the fish were as dry as a bone. We were seated next to a window that looked into the kitchen and what we witnessed as we were finishing our wine was not what I would expect of any decent restaurant. First I saw a staff member emptying a bag of fresh fish onto a counter and one of them fell into a trash can, he dug around in the trash, retrieved it and put it back with the other fish. A couple of minutes later, as we were paying the bill, I saw a staff member open a container of minced raw salmon, he put his finger in the container, tasted the fish and immediately spat it out. He called another guy over who did exactly the same thing, again spitting it out instantly. The guy went to throw it in the garbage but the chef stopped him, he tasted it, added lemon juice to it and told the guy to serve it. If we had seen that before our meal we would have got up and left immediately.

On the occasion of my son's birthday, we wanted to celebrate it with a dinner in a well-decorated place and where we could taste seafood. The choice could not have been better. In a very pleasant atmosphere and with excellent service from Natalia we started with some squid rings with spicy sauce and then, the main course, was a grill of fish and shellfish (very abundant). The experience was the best, the kitchen is excellent and with very good quality merchandise. The bartender prepared us a very well-balanced drinks.

Located off the city center, at the outer edge of Palermo district, this place serves some great seafood and fish dishes. we started with a beautiful, fresh salad and two delicious fish empanadas, followed by an excellent black paella, done rather the Canarian way (not so dry, a bit creamy) then the Spanish/mediterranean way of preparing it. The portion was big and came with lots of seafood and even an octopus tentacle. really delicious. we enjoyed very much and can warmy recommend the place. PS: There is also a daily menue with a main dish (fish), a drink and a coffee for a very fair price.

The food and overall the visit were awesome! Our Spanish is unfortunately very limited but Giuliana was very helpful and made our experience seamless. We ordered a salmon ceviche and a platter of grilled seafood. Both dishes were served very nicely, and were delicious. The platter exceeded our expectations in terms of size as well: two kinds of fish, two kinds of shrimp (and plenty!), two different types of mussels, baby octopus, and squid. Everything was seasoned well and very tender.

On holidays in Argentina you may get saturated from meat at a certain moment. Then you are searching a fish restaurant, for instance this one in Palermo.Warm welcome, nice seating, and nice menu. An excellent wine is fast served and comes along with bread and excellent butter! So definitively great start. Then the “ rabas” (fried calamares) are served followed by different grilled fishes. All good but nothing to remember for ever in spite of the great performance of the waiter, Ronald.

My dining experience at La Pescadorita was a mix of highs and lows. The ambiance was pleasant, creating a relaxed atmosphere perfect for a fish restaurant. However, my encounter with the server, Maxi, was notable for his persistent recommendation of the special of the day. While I appreciated his enthusiasm, the dish itself fell short of expectations, earning a modest 3 out of 5 stars. The special, though intriguing in concept, lacked the flavor profile I anticipated from a seafood-centric establishment. The presentation was appealing, but the taste didn't quite match the visual appeal. Despite the letdown, the rest of the menu showcased a variety of seafood options, providing a chance for redemption. Service, beyond the persistent recommendation, was attentive, and the staff maintained a friendly demeanor throughout the meal. The overall impression leaves room for improvement, with potential to elevate the dining experience by refining the execution of their special dishes. La Pescadorita has the potential to be a standout fish restaurant, but a few adjustments could make it truly exceptional.

We shared a mixed seafood platter for two and did not enjoy any part of it. Poor quality fish, average shrimps, and an over abundance of very poor quality mussels. None of which tasted fresh. We left at least half of the platter uneaten but when the waiter came to take away the plate still half full of uneaten seafood, she did not look surprised and left without comment. Maybe we came on their off night and did not order the food items raved by other TripAdvisors.

We were for lunch on a Friday. We ordered an empanada encevichada which was perfect, it was soft and the filling was perfectly seasoned. We also ordered a paella de pescados y mariscos (the portion is big, it is very filling for 2 people) and it was also really good, one of the best we ate here in Buenos Aires. Natalia served our table and she was very sweet, she made the experiencie all the more enjoyable. 10/10 restaurant.
