My wife and I had a wonderful evening at this restaurant. The SERVICE was truly outstanding and my steak was delicious. The dessert was beautifully made and divine- - - Dulce de Leche pudding with a chocolate arch!
We had an evening meal here. Had a nice table for two with view out the window.
Service was helpful and friendly.
Entree was both interesting and great...using Pear.
For mains we both had steak and whilst my wife enjoyed hers (she likes medium) I...was disappointed with mine: it was cooked too long and a little dry (I prefer medium rare). It was fine but i was expecting to be wow'd and was not...i have had better elsewhere...
Regardless of slight negative point still worth a visit so recommended!More
We stayed at the Park Tower hotel and decided to try their restaurant. Wow!! Everything was perfect!! The view is beautiful of the city. We even came back the next day for dinner because it was so good. We had seafood, filet mignon, duck, and...also their red wine from Argentina is incredible!! The service is excellent. A special note of outstanding service goes to Lucia, Katherine, and Raul. All staff were outstanding with wonderful smiles. We also had fabulous breakfasts 2 mornings. We miss the restaurant!!!!More
Visited St Regis restaurant/lounge for breakfast and afternoon tea while staying at the Park Tower hotel in January 2020. It’s a very nice restaurant with a lovely sunny view, lots of natural light and with attentive, friendly staff. The staff is truly lovely, and Katherine...and Matias took time to chat which was a lovely touch to make us feel comfortable staying at this property. We cannot say enough nice things about this place. Highly recommend!More
Superb service and food. Staff went out of their way to accommodate vegetarian dietary requirements and chef prepared special vegetarian main course. Beef (not for the vegetarian obviously!😂) was second to none. Perfectly cooked as requested, tender and tasty. Thank you for your service, food...and care.More
We had Christmas Eve dinner here. The restaurant is small and intimate with lots of tables with views of the city below. Service was very good by the wait staff. They were through and happy despite working on a holiday. The Maitre D was a...little snobby. The food quality was good.More
I had breakfast here everyday I stayed at the hotel and lunch one day, both experiences were extensive buffets of well prepared foods. I looked at the dinner menu and it appeared a bit adventurous for my tastes.
The place is very nice, the attention of the staff is unbeatable but the courses did not meet my expectations. The Meat was perfect but the cochinillo .... they just don't know how to prepare it so I was very disappointed because a place that...category should be almost perfect. The dessert very well presented.
I will not really return: I was disappointed and I think I paid a high price.
There are much nicer places for equal quality for the amount paid: I do not recommend itMore
6 of us had reservations and we were seated on the upper level directly outside of the bathrooms along with another table of Americans and a Canadian couple. The nicer tables, overlooking the windows on the lower area, had many open tables. All of the...people at the occupied tables were Argentinian.
Our waiter was HORRIBLE!!!! He was curt and condescending. The service itself was not good either. We ordered several bottles of wine, 2 bottles were opened and 1 was used on the first pour along with 1/5 of the 2d bottle. When we asked for more wine, the waiter opened up a 3rd bottle instead of finishing off the 2d bottle. Not sure why this was done except to boost the bill by a 3rd bottle?
The duck was tough and fatty but the octopus was excellent.
We asked to split a meal and they refused to accommodate.
We waited and waited for service at times and after the apps finally gave up and went looking for the waiter who got angry that we found him. We complained to the restaurant manager (even though the waiter claimed HE was the manager) and she took us to the Italian restaurant and comped our apps and wine we had in the St Regis.
I would NEVER recommend this restaurant to anyone as long as that waiter is still there!More
Located on the second floor of the Park Tower hotel, the St. Regis offers great views of the city and expert service. Food is also very good, but prices are a bit higher than in most other places in Buenos Aires. Wonderful selection of wines.

Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighbourhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with
ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
We didn't have lunch but dinner. There was no set menu, only a la carte, and prices varies depending on what you wanted. It was expensive, from memory about $100 for two courses with wine, maybe a bit more.
