Three Bridges restaurant is a lovely restaurant located on the banks of the Olifants River, looking into greater Kruger! You might be able to see Buffalo, Hippo's, Elephants or other animals walking along the River while you are having your meal. We also have a Bed & Breakfast with 3 rooms from which all rooms have a view on the Olifants River. Enjoy the tranquility of the Bush at Three Bridges Restaurant and B&B

A lovely spot on the banks of the Olifants River, about 30km's outside Hoedspruit. Food and Service was great. We had pizza, a burger and a wrap, which were all good. Our waiter, Ishmael, was attentive and very informative about the best place to view the hippos!

Check point Charle between 2 worlds

A surprising place, on the highway just under Mica, easy for reaching the Kruger or the Hoedspruit Airport. I stayed a few nights there on the Olifant River (with hippos and crocs). There is a big craft shop and a plant nursery attached to it. The food of the restaurant is very very good and the staff amazingly attentive and smiling.

Peaceful overnight, a lovely view , great staff and awesome food!!!!

I stayed overnight, had lunch outside, with a view of the river (3 bridges). Dinner in the restaurant. Very friendly staff. Awesome view. Lots of birds and great food!! The rooms are not luxurious, but you have everything you need - aircons, fans, generator. Table on the "stoep" - made my day. Tables overlooking the river and a lots of bird life makes it a very peaceful experience!!!!

Not worth the stop

Our food took forever to arrive - we ordered simple breakfast and light lunch items . The fried eggs were overdone, the omelette was almost burnt, and the chicken and mango wrap was virtually inedible- a few pieces of dry chicken and way too much sauce . The chips were soggy … overall a very dissatisfying experience We drive past Three Bridges regularly and decided to stop over for a change - doubt if we’ll do it again unless we’re ravenous.

Relief from the December heat in Limpopo

Spending time in the Limpopo over December can be taxing from a heat perspective. We found the little haven of Three Bridges Restaurant, +- 15k's North of Hoedspruit on the Phalaborwa Road. what a stunning setting overlooking the Olifants River (three elephant feeding in the riverbed), with its sparkling pool, sparkling staff and sparkling fare. Ice cold beverages followed by a simple yet, delicious midday treat. Stay a while, there's no rush!!

I recommend the gin and tonics! Burgers are top. Kiddies menu available for families. Pop next door to the shop for some nice curios or momentos. It is 30 minutes drive outside Hoedspruit but well worth it!

Very nice place

Wer had a very nice stay for one night. The room was clean an we had a lot of space. The Dinner and the breakfast was excellent. The service was also very good and the garden directly next to the River was a great place.

We come to Three Bridges every Friday night because we love it SO much! great food, fantastic atmosphere and the most lovely staff. You also have the most incredible view of the Olifants River. If you are ever staying in Hoedspruit, please do visit Three Bridges!

A wonder evening at 3Bridges

I enjoyed my stay there. Room was clean and very spacious. Bed was comfortable, I slept like a baby The Sunday roast was the highlight of my stay. Staff are friendly and Amy made sure that I was comfortable at all times. Would definitely go back there.

A gem on the Olifantsriver

We found this little gem while en route to Kruger. Our furkids joined us and the entire 'family' had a great time. The food was great and everyone so friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully decorated and perfect for our needs. They recently updated the room which is stylish and modern. The views from the restaurant sublime and we cannot compliment the chef enough!

Three Bridges Brunch!

Such a lovely day under the trees on the deck looking out at the elephants happily splashing in The Mighty Oliphants River! Food was delicious and the service was excellent! As it was a hot day we swam in the pool. Wonderful time will come back soon!

Bring binoculars for game viewing with your meal

Good spot to stop for a snack or a meal. The staff are fine and the food ok … what is fantastic is the view over the Olifants River. We saw two hippo and a crocodile as well as many birds. Bring your binoculars and enjoy the restaurant ginger cat
