Superb food and thoughtful service. Lovely ambiance situated on the mole looking back on Durban city.

Disappointed with the food. Lacked flavour and definitely lacked value for money. The prawns where certainly large but had the same flavour as a cheap seafood outlet. The fish was poorly seasoned and the portion size was ridiculously small. Very different from my last dining...experience at this restaurant.More

Our company chose this normally good restaurant to celebrate a milestone with key management but sadly, this turned out to be a complete disappointment. The private room on the upper level is superb with a great view and a wonderful ambiance but that’s where it...ended. Service was very slow. Orders were taken after the specials were announced. However after about an hour we were informed that one of the specials was no longer available so a substitute was chosen. After another half hour we were told that the rack of lamb was sold out. In the meantime the steaks were cooked and left under the warmer so we’re over cooked and had to be sent back. All main courses were mediocre leading to much disappointment instead of a celebratory mood. Management response also inadequate.More

Our first visit to this establishment was nothing less than unforgettable and absolutely incredible. The staff are friendly and professional, and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant and memorable anniversary dinner. Our waiter, Clive, provided us with great service and occassional entertaining humour...throughout our dining experience. Our 3-course meals were equisitely prepared with loads of flavour and generous portions. 9th avenue offers a comfortable atmosphere and beautiful location on the harbour overlooking the docked boats and city lights. It is an amazing experience and highly recommended.More

The venue provides a unique experience, overlooking the city and the harbour. The venue is full of natural light, and is the perfect location for the perfect lunch or dinner. The menu has something for everyone's taste. The red pepper soup was divine, and so...was the dessert with balsamic ice cream! I can highly recommend 9th avenue for an unforgettable dining experience.More

We had the most beautiful meal in a very long time. The flavours were sublime. The views are superb. The friendly service of the staff is second to none especially Cornelius, our waiter who ran after us to give us our little parting gift of...salt and sumac jars. Lovely touch. We will definitely be back again soon and would highly recommend this restaurant. The cocktails on the deck bar is amazing too!More

A lovely cold winters afternoon with a delicious food experiences and special family catchup time. The tasting menu was the bomb nothing to disappoint...Love the new spot situated at the harbour on the waters edge...stunning.The ambiance and staff who have an incredible professional yet non...invasive way of serving and helping with laughing eyes behind masked faces. Everyone is so hands on and there to make you feel like you are the only people in the restuarant. After meal bill treat is delicious and is perfect to end off any meal. A lovely way to celebrate life, my beautiful family and the incredible land country we live in. Thank you to the brilliant team at 9th Avenue Waterside 👌#grateful #family #memories #onelifeMore
