We went to Cuisine Afrique to celebrate my birthday and they went out of their way to make help me celebrate my birthday.
The food was great, service was done well and with a smile.
We will definitely be going back.

Cuisine Afrique made our 5th wedding anniversary very special. From the compliment champagne, spring roll and mussel starters, the main course and drinks to the ambiance were perfect. Will recommend this to every one who want to have a romantic dinner or who just want to enjoy fine cuisine.

Excellent food overall. Cajun Calamari starter was divine, and the tamoto and basil based mussles sauce was so good we scooped up every last drop of the it using the shells. Lemon sorbet was superb. The quality meat choices extensive, and the meat cut tender and beautifully prepared with a perfectly baked potato that's fluffy inside with a crispy skin. Pasta with pesto was bursting with pine nut and basil flavour, but unfortunately it was a bit too salty.
The chocolate volcano dessert was delicious and moist, albeit not a volcanic showpiece (no runny centre oozed out). The latter did not detract from how good it was though. Paul's home made ice cream, on the other hand, was a little dissapointing in that it came in a small barcoded retail box with a plastic spoon that could not cut through its frozen rock-solid state. The welcome spring roll, while crispy and fresh, was a little underseasoned, yet the bread rolls were fantastic. I could happily have eaten 10 of them.
Service was attentive and friendly, however nobody played the role of senior host or hostess. Attractive setting, gardens, and decor. Small critiques were that the music was more suited to a club or pub environment than a sophisticated dinner experience, that cloth serviettes with real hand towels would be more elegant (and far more fitting considering the great food) than the paper serviettes and plastic wrapped disposable hand towels in the little chrome basket (which reminded one of a fast-food restaurant), and that the candles in the pretty table lanters could be lit for ambience.
One final suggestion is that the Vegan/Vegetarian options (meat substitutes) could be prepared by the chef, from scratch and not bought in from a supplier. This way vegetarians can enjoy a dining experience they cannot readily buy in a store or easily recreate at home. I'd love to discover what such an obviously talented chef could create for this section of the menu.

Thank you for dining with us and providing us with a detailed review. We are always on a mission of improvement. We are elated that you found our food excellent and we apologize for the few short comings. Our Gm was on duty that evening, but could not be on the floor as he was attending to an emergency, apologies for that. We have not reintroduced our material serviettes or towels in our bathrooms since covid and do use disposable towels currently. Was thrilled to find this little gem. A lovely outside undercover area is COVID compliant and the meal was exceptional. Attentive but non intrusive waiters made this a special evening to sit relax and enjoy the atmosphere and music. A varied Ala carte menu has something for everyone. Locals should support this lovely place as COVID bites our tourism industry. Highly recommended for a special evening out.

We went there last night as a family. We ordered drinks and my daughter got her drink wrong 3 times. Then the waiter said that's because they don't have enough glasses. We ordered our food and first we waited 1 and a half hour for the food and again some was not what we asked for and it was cold. While we waited another guy had a problem with his waiter that was cocky with him. They just didn't care about us or anything that was not right and believe me I'm not someone that complain easily but we had a terrible experience

Spending Mother's Day at this restaurant was an absolute delight! From the warm welcome by the staff to the serene ambiance of the tranquil gardens, every moment was cherished. The service was impeccable, and the staff made us feel right at home. As for the food, it was a culinary masterpiece! Each dish boasted a perfect blend of flavors, complementing one another beautifully. Not only did the taste leave us speechless, but the presentation was also a work of art. A truly memorable experience for the whole family!
