We visited Conscious Coffee at the recommendation of the volunteer at the Talkeetna Historical Society's museum. The coffee was great, the atmosphere was cozy, and it was fun to listen to the barista greet friends as they were returning to town for the summer season. We liked it so much that we went back the next morning for breakfast!

Great tea and coffee spot in Talkeetna. They have outdoor seating and clean bathrooms. Super friendly service! Highly recommended!

This charming little place in town is so worth a visit. Had the carrot ginger juice, an americano and a breakfast bagel. Each one was superb. Loved the overall local vibe. If i were a local this would be a regular stop.

Don't have much luck finding a good cup of coffee in Alaska until we visited Conscious Coffee. Called a "little whole in the wall," it is a mighty popular place, justifiably so. organic coffee and organic food served by an owner who believe in real, organic, tasty food.

I just went to Google Maps to see just how far this perfect coffee shop is from my home. 4,404 miles. That's too far.
This spot is just perfect. My friends headed to the Roadhouse across the street and I just wanted calm and quiet. I was greeted by friendly staff and enjoyed breakfast and a perfect Americano outside. I watched locals go in and out and also saw hikers passing through.
The next day I convinced my friends to join me and they were equally as hooked. All locals surrounded us inside as we enjoyed breakfast a second day in a row!
I truly wish this spot existed in my town.

Enjoyed a traditional machiato. Excellent espresso.
Had a wonderful, fresh nutella crepe. Very small place with maybe 3 tables and small bar inside with other tables outside.

When we walked in the, presumably, owner was going through a box to see how much the locals had on their tabs. Local men were hanging out talking. It was a good old fashioned feeling of small town being there - but the coffee was anything but old fashioned. Delicious coffee drinks and a nice menu of healthy snacks.

Their fresh squeezed carrot, ginger, and orange was an Orgasm in My Mouth; and not in the naughty variety. Would recommend there juice to anyone looking for freshness and wellness.

I really want to give 3.5 stars - it's better than Average, but I'm not sure Very Good is quite right either.
A quirky little coffee shop, definitely a refreshing change from the big chains we're all so used to. Though, to be honest, I felt the coffee itself wasn't as good as it could have been.
We stopped after a bike ride for a smoothie, which tasted fresh and I enjoyed it. The following day we went in for breakfast and I had scrambled eggs with spinach, which OK, but not incredible.
Definitely pop in, but mainly for the quirky decor, atmosphere and fresh smoothies rather than the coffee.

This immediately became my go-to spot in Talkeetna, which is a funky town with fun energy. Their coffee is good and the lady who does the coffee works FAST. When the weather is nice, it's nice to sit outside. I also enjoyed the crepe. There's clean bathroom in the house nearby that's shared with another restaurant.

Cute little place, very characteristic, I tried the espresso, a little on the strong side but still good! you can sit outside and read a book (they have a decent selections of books indeed)
