This restaurant is located in a mall but that in no way detracts from the quality of the dishes prepared there! Despite the language barrier, it is easy to order thanks to the images on the menu. The dumplings and noodles are to die for! Go there without hesitation!

Excellent as usual. Black truffles Longxiaobao and layered Sponge cake are a must. Nice service, very friendly. Anytime again!

Many foreigners loves this place but I cannot really agree with it. Compare with other dumpling place this one is expensive, almost double and the taste is moderate. Try other dumpling place instead.

This taiwan chain needs no introduction. But unlike the taiwan branches where food and service are very good, overseas branches like this cannot match. Still good though, but not very good

This chain needs no introduction. Besides the xiaolongbao dumplings, the dandan noodles and honey pumpkin appetiser are good

Service at Dingtaifeng always makes me feel at home! And at Dingtaifeng Xintiandi, I get to taste something really exciting and bring me new sensations of Xiaolongbao! The “exclusive Black & Gold Dumplings” are made of thin glutinous rice dough and running & yum yum chocolate filling.... yea... how much better can you get from there??? It’s simply heaven on earth.. 😋😋😋🥰🥰🥰😋😋😋🥰🥰🥰

Our guide recommended this restaurant when we booked a day-long tour of Shanghai. It was an excellent choice, certainly the best food we had on our month-long cruise in Asia. I didn't record our specific dishes but our desire for mostly seafood and non-spicy dishes was very well satisfied. In particular we enjoyed the soup and the exquisite dumplings.

real institution for xalong bao. Efficient and attentive service. It would be desirable that this chain could develop in Europe .....

We were taken to this restaurant by our local business associates who, while long-time residents of Shanghai, are originally from Taiwan. Din Tai Fung is a Taiwanese chain with several outlets in the city. It came highly recommended and we were not disappointed. The food was very fresh and the service prompt and courteous. Not particularly spicy or hot, however, for those seeking something fiery.
