We enjoy the food every time we dine at this restaurant. You can't go wrong at Tamara's. You need to make sure you are hungry!

Walked in and asked for a table explaining we would be back in half an hour. Came back and found the best table reserved for us with the best waitress. The dinners were delicious. The atmosphere was delightful. The owner, Tamara, is charming. Perfect evening....Highly recommend.More

Went to this gem for dinner while visiting family for Christmas. Had a very enjoyable dinner and drinks for 4 of us. Great location in a great little town. Was very busy and I don't believe they take reservations so we did have quite a...wait for our table but it wasn't an hour so we managed. The gouda mashed potatoes were fantastic as were the steaks and grouper! I would guess anything on the menu would have been a great choice.More

Found this place, just by chance. What a chance it was. Excellent salad, excellent pimento cheese/fried chicken sandwich. Folks with us said Ruben was best they had ever had! Cameron the lady at the bar was pleasant and never stopped working. May have to plan...our next trip to Fairhope around this place!More

So i finally got a chance to go to Tamara’s in FairHope. I’ve been here once before for their Wednesday night Special Happy Hour, it was great! Specials on Appetizers as well as drink specials, I recommend the Lemon Drop Martini 🍸. This time we...went to watch Bama play on a Saturday night. Since we cooked a healthy lunch late in the afternoon, we decided we would try some Appetizers instead of a heavy dinner. My friend was craving raw oysters and was not disappointed. They were big and briny and oh so fresh. We tried the Crab Meat Pie, I was expecting something totally different but loved the end result. It looked like a big huge piece of pie but it was savory, full of crab and candied pecans. You have to try it, so delicious 🤤. We then just had to try another, a Shrimp Stack! Delicious lighted fried shrimp over scrumptious fried green tomatoes! The sauces they were over the tomatoes and the crab pie was swimming in were amazing 🤩. My friend would have ordered more but I had to say enough 😂, some people need a little encouragement 😂. Loved our night out and will definitely add Tamara’s to our Fav Places to Go! Btw, the service was exceptional! Everyone worked as a team and it showed.More

I was recently visiting Fairhope with friends for a long weekend. We went to Tamara's for Saturday Brunch. It was amazing, we all ordered something different. The crab cake lunch was really good, the omelette was huge and really a nice plate. Our waiter was...excellent! Highly recommend. They have jazz music on weekends too!More

This was our first visit to Tamara's, but will certainly not be our last. The atmosphere is upbeat and there is a definite "buzz", even on a Sunday late afternoon it was more than half full on arrival and totally full by the time we...finished. Every item on the menu was interesting to my wife and I, but we ultimately settled for the crab cakes (delicious) and Grouper (even more delicious). We would have had dessert except the portions were large and there was no way to fit sweets at the end. Our server was La Toya, and she was exceptional. Unfortunately, she is not a full time server, but she was always one step ahead with refilling waters, knowing when to approach for orders, etc. In total, Tamara's was a very pleasant experience and I would whole heartedly recommend it anyone looking for a quality dining experience in Fairhope. The only caveat is they do not take reservations, so plan accordingly.More

Last night of a long weekend getaway. Spent the day touring the USS Alabama and antiquing in Mobile, so when we made it back to home base in Fairhope, we were hungry! Had dinner here on Saturday night. Started with a pair of martinis and...the baked Brie—YUM. I had she-crab soup followed by the triple tail special, along with a glass of cab. Hubs had spicy beef chili and the Chicken Tamara. We cleaned our plates! Not a bite left. Were too full for dessert so can’t comment on them. Very cool space with paintings everywhere, even hanging from the ceiling. Go here. You will not be sorry.More

This restaurant was five star all the way! From the minute you walk in the door, it is a pleasurable experience. The service is a 10+, all the food was superb and not your everyday seafood for steak, and the atmosphere is the icing on...the cake! Best restaurant in the area, by a long shot. Go early and enjoy! You won't be disappointed!More

Our waitress Bri was very responsive and accommodating. For a small restaurant, the menu was quite extensive and the items we had were excellent. They will not shortchange you on the quantity of food. Most meals are in the $12-$16 range. Parking is at a...premium, and you may have to park on the street. The atmosphere is modern and eclectic. We will stop here again if we are in the area.More

We love the Sunday brunch here. The bloody Mary bar gets five stars for sure. Best value items are the "make your own" mimosas (bottle of champagne and glass of fresh juice for $12), and the "all you can eat" Soup and Salad. We always...go for the clam chowder, and all the salads are great. Last time I had the French Dip sandwich, and it was big and delicious. Service is always good. Live music on Sunday is a nice touch too. They don't take reservations, so be prepared for a little wait. Don't hesitate to eat at the bar, because the service there is great too.More
