Great comfort food for affordable price, excellent stews, I tried also local cheese and home baked bread. Portions generous, so make sure you go hungry there. Service very nice and hospitable.

The restaurant is located a 5-minute walk from the center of Cetinje. The food is very good and tasty, they also have many Montenegrin cheeses to choose from. Try the Šopska salad, it has an extremely delicious cheese added to it. The only 'problem' is the portions, which are very large. The waiter was extremely friendly and approachable, but not intrusive, which is rare. He also gave us some tourist information about Montenegro.
We paid 27e for two main dishes, two Šopska salads, a large and two small beers and veal soup. If you are in Cetinje and you are hungry, this restaurant is a great choice.

Porodični ručak.
Hrana ukusna i svježa, porcije obilne. Iako je bila gužva to nije uticalo na kvalitet hrane u negativnom smislu.
Teleća čorba kao kod kuće, sa povrćem i mesom. Domaći svježi hljeb. Jagnjetina u mlijeku odlična. Piletina sosu od pečurki, kao i natur šnicla u istom sosu takođe jako ukusna.
Zaposleni ljubazni i strpljivi, komunikativni.
Cijene vrlo prstojne za količinu hrane i lokaciju restorana.
Svaka preporuka.
We had family lunch.
Food was great, fresh and portions were big. The restaurant was full but that did not affect quality of the food. Veal "chorba" was like homemade, had vegetables and meat in it. Homemade fresh bread. Lamb in milk was tasty, moist, with cooked potatos. We also had chicken breasts and veal schnitzel in the mushroom sauce, it was cramy, tasty, not dry but moist, french fries on the side with both.
Staff is welcoming, polite and communicative.
Prices are realy reasonable considering the quality and sizes of portions and also location of the restaurant.
Would recomend this place.

Recommended by our driver, we had dinner at Restaurant Kole and left mostly satisfied. Read on for details.
On a raining October evening, masks on, we were warmly greeted and promptly seated. Service was prompt and efficient.
Bread arrived quickly and was fresh and chewy-wholesome. The mixed salad featured a nicely presented plate of sliced tomato and cucumber with a center of shredded lettuce, already dressed and salted. (Everything seems to be salted in this country.) In a meat-heavy country, the salad was substantial and a nice change.
Two of us shared a fresh bass. The entire bass, proudly sitting on its bottom, arrived on a plate flanked by a nice service of potatoes and spinach. The fish was easily served with a minimum of bones; it was flavorful and on the dry side from being overcooked. The potatoes and spinach were okay.
There are many variations of baklava and the one we were served was like a layered pastry saturated in a honey-flavored liquid, like someone had dropped a croissant in a sugary syrup. It was interesting.
The service was efficient and friendly. The pricing is very reasonable. Would I return? Maybe, to explore more of the vast menu.

This restaurant was mentioned in Lonely planet and while visiting the area I thought I'd check it out...I was wet through and had my dog with me. Now in Montenegro they rarely have women dining alone or pet dogs (preferring to let them roam the streets) so I was given a very frosty reception., Which is also typical of the country, you feel like they are doing you a favour by allowing you to use their facilities.
I was missing lamb as it's not always an option, so I had two options on the menu, lamb in milk (which apparently is lovely but sounded the worst option that braised lamb. It came with potatoes which I don't really eat, mentioned this but no alternative was offered, I asked if it came with vegetables as I was also missing greens as these too are not common. I had to order a side dish, fine I'll have some grilled vegetables please. These were courgettes, peppers, tomato...
If this is the best Montenegro has to offer Ill go self catering from now on! I never did get a smile from either of the male staff or the offer to get dry but a radiator - total lack of human compassion and terrible food all in one place!

10/10 experience, the food is amazing. I can farely say that the portions size & quality surpases the price by a long shot.
We had the beef stew/soup, medalions in mushroom & blue cheese sauce (you can choose), I recommend even going half a portion because it s a lot.
Would recommend this place to literally anyone, hope you get a chance to enjoy it too!

This is the perfect place to go eat in Cetinje. Easy to find. Staff is good and frendly. The amount of portion You get on a plate You will not get anywhere else in Montenegro. It is good, it is fresh and the price is more than ok. Just PERFECT!

Perfect place to have a dinner. Personal very helpful, dishes tasty, huge portions.
We tried Mućkalica- unreal taste, other dishes we tried was tasty, made with love and from fresh products. We were here 4 years ago, and this summer once more- service and food was the same grate level. Highly recommend.

We spent an afternoon in Cetinje on a recent week long stay in Budva. This restaurant was recommended in my Marco Polo guide book. It is fabulous. Great welcome and service. Waitress recommended local dish to me of pork wrapped around ham and cheese. It would have fed 3 people and was so tasty. My husband got a most generous steak dish again would have fed 2 people! Good value for money, lovely homemade bread, good wine, ate outside in the beautiful town. What's not to like!

On the way back to the airport from Kotor we stopped off again at the lovely small city of Cetinje, having read about Kole from reviews. People were eating, so we sat down and made ourselves comfortable. Friendly owner (?) came and tried to explain a few things to us in English, which was very helpful. We had hoped to try the lake carp, which is apparently a local speciality but not on the menu that day, sadly, as none caught! Not to worry, we ordered something else from the menu, relying somewhat on owner's recommendations. I had a very nice risotto nero with squid and lots of other seafood bits. Yum. The wife had a HUGE (without realising it would be!) piece of rolled pork cheek, stuffed with local cheese. Nice side dish of seasonal grilled vegetables between us to accompany it. Very nice and excellent value but just couldn't eat all the pork dish! Fortunately they did package up the remains of her dish and we smuggled it onto the plane and ate at home the next day and it did both of us! Phew! Pity we hadn't discovered this place when we had visited the previous week otherwise we'd have eaten here then as well. Good food, good value.

We stopped at Kole because we saw a lot of people sitting and thought it's a good indicator. Turned out it was a bullseye!!!Great food, very nice service & good prices. The food was served quickly, fresh, big portions & very tasty!!!Be sure to check it out if you are in Cetinje.Highly recommend you do!!!

The food was excellent & so tasty, the best food we had in Montenegro so far. The squid with stuffed gambori (shrimp) was out of this world tasty. My daughter fell in love with the cevapcici . The staff was very welcoming & could speak excellent English.
A definite place to visit when you visit the Cetinje museum, Bogdan (who makes beautiful horse shoes with your name (or anything you want), the Lipa caves & the monastery etc

Absolutely mind blowing! Portion are huge, most of the people could share it, that is the size of it, and is very tasty. If you are anywhere near Cetinje you must visit it, and better be very hungry in order not to leave to much uneaten.
