I ate there on February 26, in the lower tourist season. Apart from me, there was only another customer. I had some baby-squids in a light sauce with bulgur and some fresh shrimps’ skewers, grilled on a barbecue just in front of me. The raw material was fresh and good. The service quick and kind. There was a pleasant family atmosphere.

We’ve been in Montenegro for 2 weeks and this was the best meal I’ve had here. Thank you!! I had the shrimp in cream sauce, Greek salad, chicken soup, garlic toast and an iced coffee. Yum!! The shrimp was fully peeled and deveined which is rare here and the sauce was awesome. The Greek salad had one of the best sauce and seasoning on it. The soup was great. The garlic toast was perfect amount of garlic and the iced coffee was with blended ice so it’s slush. Perfect meal thank you.

Very tasty food and great customer service - friendly staff. The drinks and the food is inexpensive, the atmosphere is cozy, the outside area is surrounded by beautiful grape plants providing a cool shadow to sit under and hide from the hot Montenegro sun. Oh and the cats here are friendly too.

Fresh, deliciuos and amazing food in Budva! I tasted fresh grilled trout with grilled vegetables, it was super tasty and delicious. Woooooow!!!! And the Cake? I don't have words to describe... I loved it!

Therefore I travel often from Germany to Montenegro, Budva and my love for Russian food I visited Grape Cafe for first time in last summer.
It's really tasty and tastes like in Moscow, Kiev or Sochi. I love everything in this cafe, but I prefer the homemade Shashlik with homemade juice and as dessert the awesome Pancakes (Bliny). The decoration of food makes me even more hungry and is nice to see and show to friends.
I am happy and every time I stay in Budva - I will eat my lunch and dinner at Grape Cafe!

We felt poor customer attitude and we left before eating. I called 10 minutes before arriving to know whether they had a table available for us, since we have kids and did not want to walk there if the restaurant was fully booked. They told us they don't take reservations but once at the restaurant they could have found a way to accommodate us.
We arrived and despite there were two 4-seat tables available they did not want to join them. There was even a bigger table that could have accommodated us table they gave it to 2 people that arrived together with us. We left.

We did tell you on the phone that we do not reserve tables. When you came to us with your family, there were no large tables. We tried to negotiate with the guests who wanted to sit at a large table, but they came before you and wanted to sit on the terrace. This is not our fault. We consider your assessment unfair, since it is not our fault that there was no big table. We hope that you will visit our establishment again and appreciate the quality of food and service.

When I just came, waiter suggest me grape fresh for the grapes that overhangs on the cafe roof. When I agreed they just go to the roof to harvest it right in front of me.
And it was really tasty, just perfect (maybe too sweet, but still perfect)
And about national russian food - okroshka. I'm personaly from Russia, but only in this cafe is sooooo perfect.
And I should say also about this restaurant stuff - very polite, very fast, very friendly.
So it's a 101 from 100. Great job, guys!

I live in Budva, so I visit this restaurant very often or ordering delivery there. Nice place for those who likes Russian or Montenegrin cuisine. Tasty and not expensive. Calm and quiet place, polite waiters, friendly and nice owners.

As this cafe wasn’t far from our hotel we popped here for a drink in the afternoon four times during our week stay. Nice little cafe although we were disappointed that even though we’d been there four times and served by the same young girl there was absolutely no acknowledgment that she’d seen us previously, just welcomed us each time “it’s cash only”! Would have been good if they’d done something like a sandwich as we’d had ordered them, as it was we settled for a bowl of fries or potato wedges (delicious). One of the visits they did give us a bunch of grapes grown from the roof to snack on, which was nice. If you’re in the area and need a drink pop in (it’s very small), but don’t go if you like to feel welcomed 😂

We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in Montenegro. It is definitely a hidden gem, nestled between the apartment blocks. The food is fresh and cooked over a charcoal grill. The prices are very reasonable too. You can sit outside or inside where they will put on air conditioning if you ask. There was also a little play area for our children. Our waiter was excellent and very patient when explaining the menu to us. If I come back I would definitely be visiting this restaurant again. As mentioned by others it is cash only.

Beautifully prepared and very fresh food in a laid back setting, deliciously calm and with some excellent music playing. All food had that home cooked feel with a flair. Extensive menu too. Recommended.

Tucked away in a back street, but well worth searching this little gem out!
Choice of sitting in a grape vine covered outside seating area, or indoors. The food was fresh and beautifully cooked but as someone else mentioned - with a home-cooked feel.
Very reasonably priced for the quality of food. Just be aware that it is a cash only venue.

Disappointed!
Unfortunately after the reviews we decided to come here for breakfast. server(male) is super rude. I guess its their culture. When we ordered pancakes( which are not pancake it’s crepes) she(our original server) forgot to give us the options for labne or chocolate. he brought it with labne. so i asked why it didn’t come with chocolate. He didn’t even apologize. He started arguing with me and cut my conversation by raising his voice.
Long story short these reviewers made mistake or they didn’t have breakfast here.

Wanted a light lunch, so decided to visit Grape Café. We ordered 2 salads and some pickles, everything was really tasty. The only minus point was that they only accept cash, but as long as you are happy with this, I would definitely recommend visiting.
