Nice reception and relaxed environment. The beer was served in chilled glasses which was much appreciated in the summer heat.
The water we got in cost nothing which is not always a given anymore including a small bucket of ice.
The food came out quickly, there were five different dishes and everyone appreciated the food (2 adults and 3 teenagers).
Satisfied, happy and satisfied it was a really relaxed lunch / dinner away from the hysteria and downtown. Highly recommend this place.

This restaurant which is in the Marina area of Trogir opposite the old town, is well worth crossing the bridge for. It is a new Croatian, Scandi owned restaurant where the chef knows what he is at & the wines are well chosen. It is Mediterranean food at its best. The vibe is relaxed holiday & you know you are not going to be ripped off. We visited here on our recent holiday in Croatia & were exceptionally pleased with what we got. My husband & I shared the olive oil tasting plate with focaccia & spinach & Parmesan croquets, followed by the beef cheeks slow cooked to perfection & the melt in the mouth salted cod. We did not have enough room for dessert but based on our starters & mains we can imagine they were to the same standard. We chose both a white wine & red wine by the glass & were very happy with our choice.
I highly recommend this restaurant especially if you dock in the Marina.

During my stay in Trogir, I frequented Restaurant Cucina, just a 5-minute walk away from Hotel Trogir Palace and a 7-minute stroll from the city center over the bridge. The restaurant offers scenic views of the fortress and town, with an inviting indoor/outdoor ambiance and comfortable seating. The highlight of my visits was the locally sourced Kozlović Malvazija white wine, which paired perfectly with every meal. The burrata, complemented by fresh tomatoes, figs, arugula, and a generous basket of warm pita bread, was a standout. Horrendous.
I know people write bad reviews more often Han food, but these guys are a joke.
We went 2 days in advance to book a table, and we turned up on time and ordered. Admittedly we ordered drinks and mains, not starters and cocktails, but were treated terribly. After over an hour, seeing tables either side have starters and one get starters and mains (arrived 20 minutes later) we asked about the delay on the food and were told another 10-15 minutes. We said this wasn’t good waiting 1.5 hours for 1 pizza, 2 pasta and 1 cod. Then the manager came over saying we had yelled at the staff and explained why it took so long, we said we wanted to leave and they tried to stop us leaving. Awful. However if you buy cocktails, starters and mains, service seems fine!

Your review omitted the fact that both you and your husband exhibited aggressive behavior toward a 19-year-old staff member and made physical contact with our staff. Additionally, your food had been waiting for 37 minutes, not the 1.5 hours you mentioned. The table next to you ordered 4 minutes before you, which is why they received their food first.
While you mentioned having two small children and needing the food promptly, we cannot prioritize your table solely based on that reason. On the night of your visit, our restaurant was serving 90 guests, and we did our best to serve your food as soon as possible.
According to Croatian law, physical altercations are prohibited, and guests are required to pay their bills. Therefore, we kindly request that you settle your outstanding bill today.

What a food experience here in Trogir!! The best food experience I have hade here in Trogir, cucina has a lovely location close to the harbour, and is a calm and relaxed place where you can enjoy high quality food and service that is world clas. I order the burratta and beef checks and was so satisfied with the presentation. I would strongly recommend this to other if they want a good food experience and service minded people, thx a lot to Cucina for this wonderful experience!!

We sought this place out as we were looking for somewhere with an alternative menu to many of the local eateries and we were not disappointed.
Having a fantastic position overlooking the marina with the scenic town and mountains beyond, the restaurant is spotlessly clean, fresh and stylish. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and professional, providing excellent service.
The food was wonderful, and truly the alternative that we have been seeking. A great menu, providing wonderfully tasty food at very reasonable prices. A real plus was the fact that it offered filter coffee, something I have struggled to find in my time in the region.
‘Would very much encourage people who are serious about their food and the location of a restaurant to seek this place out.

The waitress was super friendly and did her best but the food was deeply disappointing. We had a cheesburger (the meat was like a chewing gum and way too stiff. Despite the consistency the taste was 0/10. Even on the Truffle Pizza the Truffle taste was missing.

Very ambitious in describing aspirations but not delivering at the table. Two steaks ordered medium-rare were medium resp medium-welldone and kale salad was Pre-chopped vegetables and industrial falafels. Superb location and friendly staff could not make up the shortfalls of the kitchen

Despite being such a large group, the service was smooth and efficient, with all our meals and drinks arriving promptly. The food was the star of the night—each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with authentic flavors that left everyone in our group raving. From the appetizers to the main courses, everything was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented,and from craft cocktails to a well-curated selection of wines, everything was top-notch.
Our waitress not only ensured that everything ran smoothly but also spoke fluent Spanish, which made the evening particularly special for our family.When my father asked for a wine recommendation, she suggested an amazing red wine, explaining its origins and flavors entirely in Spanish. This thoughtful gesture made us feel incredibly welcome and added a personal touch to our meal. The wine was exquisite, perfectly complementing our dishes.
Cucina went above and beyond, combining delicious food with outstanding, personalized service. We’ll definitely be back!

Dinner with a good friend. We have tried many restaurants during our stay in Trogir and Split. This was the first time we really felt like we were in a restaurant and were served food made with love and passion. Excellent home-cooked food. And the price justifies the quality. Beoynd that service was very fast, good vibes and the drinks (amaretto sour, and espresso martini) tasted like it should.

This location is so beautiful, overlooking the marina and just outside of old town of trogir, it’s so peaceful to be away from the bustle of the old town and have the serenity of trogir still, as you are tucked away with the most gorgeous decor of this classy restaurant.
You can tell these owners are very well traveled as the food is so delicious but also some diversity on the menu, my friends and I experienced the best food we had in Croatia, it was a truly amazing dining experience!
The wine selection was also to die for!! Highly recommend the ‘Markus’ rosé (Syrah, Grenache) I think this was one of the best rosés we ever tasted- was a true treat!
The staff here were so lovely we also stayed for more drinks just to stay in the lovely ambiance of this little hidden gem! Definitely not to missed if you are in the area!

I had the pleasure of spending a pleasant evening with friends in this new gem in Trogir.
The restaurant is nicely decorated, has personality and is located a few steps from the ACI/STC marina in Trogir. Eating in front of the moored boats makes the atmosphere more special.
But the real difference is the staff, with their friendliness, professionalism and attention to the customer.
I really enjoyed the food!
I ordered Beef Cheeks. It was spacey and melted on the palate.

I was there with my family and a friend. Our waitress Jelena made sure to cheer us up, make us laugh and give us perfect and very kind service. She make sure that you feel welcome! For starters we had a hummus board, olive oil tasting and some others starters which was shared between us and it was enough. We really liked oils ! And for the main dishes we had some Shrimp papadelles, pizzas, truffle pastas… The food is very tasty in this restaurant, it's worth a visit! The recommended wines blew us away! We had 3 bottles
