BEST FOOD, SERVICE AND VIBE - We'll be back for sure!

We stumbled upon Lola Street Food (which was on a list of recommendations given to us) and booked to eat two days later (it was fully booked for the next few nights, although we could have chanced it and been seated earlier). We turned up and had the best Run Lola Run cocktails while we waited for our table. We were seated and had the most amazing food I think we've tasted in a very long time! The Bao Buns and Arancini were the best ever (still dreaming of them now). Steven and Petra are a class act, running an incredible bar/restaurant and having so much fun in the meantime. Their enthusiasm and energy is infectious and they have the ability to get everyone smiling instantly. Yes, there's a little bit of a wait but what do you expect in a restaurant as popular as this? We came back the following night to get the Poke Bowls to take away (worth noting they do this if you haven't got the time to wait) and they too were brilliant. We had such fun at this restaurant that over our 10 days in Hvar we returned 3 times. They have a DJ playing music which is more upbeat than the live music a little further along at Central Park (we also loved this but a different vibe). It's not somewhere you go to if you're in a mad rush to eat and leave but if you're on "Croatia Time" and happy to chill, enjoy the music and the atmosphere as well as the incredible food and drinks at very reasonable prices then this is THE place to visit. WE LOVED IT and will be back!

Fun, friendly, great vibe

My daughter had tried to eat here when she was travelling and it was too busy. A year later we made it and please we did. Cool little place down a side street. Great staff, funny, friendly and they know their stuff. The food and drinks were clearly lovingly made and really tasty. We had a mix of things and all were great. If these ask how spicy you want the chicken curry, go a little bolder than standard. Trust me, a bit extra heat would be good 😃

Delicious club sandwich with very friendly staff

We visited for lunch when they’d just opened for the day and the service was so friendly and welcoming. We had a wine, beer and shared THE most delicious but huge club sandwich we’d ever had, it was quite expensive at around 20 euros or just under but you definitely got value for money and we really enjoyed it. We came back again for drinks one evening and sat at the bar area and chatted to the lovely bartender from Sweden who again was so friendly and welcoming and made a delicious cocktail so definitely go if you’re looking for a great bar!

Sorry, sorry, sorry as waiter tag line

Dear, First of all the restaurant has an horrendous chaotic system of service. Initially you are dropped at stairs to wait for 45 minutes until a table is free. Sequentially after you’re seated and ordered your food, you can wait until the next apocalypse when you’re food arrives. However the food was excellent in terms of quality and taste. In case you want extra drinks, you better order 20 times then at least you will receive one of these the coming 20 minutes because the order will be forgotten or you will be ignored (during our diner we had empty drinks). The uncountable number of sorry does not make it any better. Also there were shots promised but we could wait for them until the end of times since they never came. Finally the money change never came back from the waiter, maybe she should not constantly join the shots with other clients so she would be capable to count. Thanks for the Lola experience KR

Best cocktails on Hvar

We found an unreserved table at around 7:30 and sat in it. We were then told that it was reserved, but they had run out of reserved signs, but were told that we could sit at another table, so long as we left before 9, which was fine by us! We saw this as them being helpful, and were grateful that they didn't refuse to serve us, like other places would. The cocktails were delicious, probably the best we had on our holiday. We shared the wings in teriyaki sauce, and the pork steamed buns. Both meals were really tasty and well portioned. As this is a 'street-side' place, it was busy and lots of people walking by, but we felt it added to the atmosphere. I can imagine that this place transforms at night! The service was friendly, they had a great attitude! We can't wait to return!

Amazing street food with fantastic atmosphere

Great buzzing restaurant. My friend and I went around 8pm and it was so busy managed to get the last table! Fantastic atmosphere with a DJ playing music whilst having a few drinks. Waiters were great fun and super helpful. Food came fast and was so fresh and delicious (especially the gyozas)! Definitely will be back !!

We had our nightout at Lola. Drinks have been amazing, you can have good classic cocktails or signature drinks. Food was very delicious and ingrediens that they use are high quality. Try their Pokebowl or Ribs! We came there multiple times on our vacation. They have live DJ playing so it’s a place with a very cool vibe. Waiter Steve made our evening even better! Cheers!

Expensive, but good!

We liked Lola! We had dinner on a Saturday night, walked by and it was hopelessly full. The owner was very kind and still managed to find us a spot on the stairs on the entrance to a house and we had a real street food experience. A huge burger with sweet potato fries - excellent!! and a lamb meet wrap, a little chewy and delicate in taste. It was quite expensive, but good! Would definitely go back. This time: 2 burgers!

Don't miss it. Eat ARANCINI best ever

Their arancini are just MUST EAT! Also we really really liked their ribs with honey glazure…so soft, so tasty, so tender. Staff was excellent, the guy who served us was so natural, living, enthusiast itself. He is probably made for this job hahah, so good at it! Loved the atmosphere and the place. We were there 2 times and definitely if we go back to Hvar, this place is gonna be on our list.

Best streetfood I've ever had!

This was the best streetfood I've ever had and Burger was one of the top three I've ever ate!!! The staff is crazy in the most positive and sympathetic way you could imagine. Definitely one of THE places to be in Hvar. 1,000% recommendation for this superb bar/restaurant.

Best experience, service and food!

We went to Lola Bar the first day they reopened while sailing with MedSailors, and it was the best restaurant we went to! Our server was the BEST SERVER we have ever had, the food was fast, phenomenal and beautiful, and the drinks were world class. It was a 10/10 on ever level, and a must stop in Hvar. Perfect stop in our beautiful vacation.

Speechless! This street food bar Lola is a bar where you don’t know if it’s better food or waiter Stipe. In every sense PERFECT! Handsome, dear, interesting, kind Stipe, and top quality, fine food. Definitely STOP here and try! WOW EFFECT!

Disappointed

I visited this place for the first time two years ago and I was delighted with the food, prices and service, so I was excited to visit it again this year. I have to admit that I was very disappointed this year because the prices are three times more expensive, the team has completely changed, the food has lost its quality and they are just watching how they will rob you. I ate chicken butter masala and I felt so bad that I threw up all night!

Great staff/atmosphere/food/drinks!

Atmosphere 10/10 staff 11/10 food 10/10. They have great music playing and the staff are so friendly and kind. They act as if they are your friend hosting you for dinner. They have really nice drinks and a good selection of food. I got a mojito (huge) and a lamb burrito which was great and it had lots of vegetables in it so I felt healthy eating it. I went as a solo traveler and I felt welcomed immediately. Hard to find these days.

Fun bar, great food & great staff! Nice way to meet new people when visiting Hvar. Perfect location and cozy setting. Staff werevery interested in all guest and tried to make a chat with everyone. The food menu is different than in most other restaurants, great for some variation.
