Very good food. The menu is in English (mostly) though staff staff speaks essentially no English. The boiled yak specialty is quite big and far to much for our group of two. Came back the next night. Recommendations: Yak yogurt, sliced potatoes with chilli, yak...dumplings, chili yak, salted tibetan wheat cake (not sure I have the name right). This place is also exceptionally clean (dishes and teacup are sanitized professionally offsite and come sealed in plastic wrap for your use).More

Food is very tasty and prices are reasonable. Menu is in English, but service speaks only Chinese. The guys are very friendly if you can understand them. Nice quiet place to sit at the bian bian street.

Dropped by for dinner as it was highly suggested. Small, cozy, friendly, clean and authentic. Ordered the mushroom salad, which was crunchy but a tad sour, probably due to the Chinese sauerkraut, nevertheless delicious. The yak was also delightful. The Tibetan pancake was freshly cooked...and a pleasure for the palate. Didn't really enjoy the Tibetan traditional wine though as it had a not so pleasant taste and after taste. Would come back again, but probably order beer as a drink instead.More

We ate here on two consecutive nights of a 3-night stay in Jiuzhaigou. The owner spoke no English but was very friendly and welcoming, posing for photographs at the end of our second meal. The cuisine was different from most other Sichuan restaurants we tried...during our two-week trip, predominantly vegetarian but with a number of dishes featuring yak which we enjoyed. Two dishes were too hot for us (a beef dish covered, literally, in chilli peppers and a pickled vegetable plate which was again largely composed of chillis) but other than these we enjoyed everything we ate, not least the dumplings which went down very quickly and had to be replenished and the yak curd with which we finished the second meal.More

Had a great evening trying different dishes - yak, pork and morn yak. All much better than was expected. Kids were brilliant and entered into the spirit of things. We were the only ones there at about 1930 but place was pretty full when we...left. Def worth trying if you are open to trying something differentMore

We ate here the first night we arrived, the food was so good that we ended up eating here most nights over a five day stay. I would definitely recommend!
