The food was alright. The ambience was quaint and cozy. Rather unique deco. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is a small eating cafe with bar. There were quite a local crowd there.

We had dinner there today and got to eat excellent western food! The place is super nice and cozy, was illuminated with candlelights, and had great music. Super easy to find- near the river behind the Sheraton hotel. Prices were super fair.

The restaurant is located behind the Sheraton, and is not easy to find. It is a cute place, not big. The food was very good. Large plates and fair price.

Ate here while staying at the Sheraton. The chicken and beef steak dishes were good. The kids ordered the Hawaiian and margaritta pizzas and said they weren't very good. I tired them and the main problem was that the sauce tastes more like ketchup than...pizza sauce. Finally, the staff were friendly but the waiter only put half of our order in and we had to wait about 30 min after the rest of our food came before the last half did. Typical Chinese service.More

The restaurant is located behind the Sheraton hotel. The prices are OK. Finally we had a menu in English! We have ordered a pizza that was OK and a salad. There are many food options which taste avarage but not more then that. It is...a good option for vegetarians and just for those that do not like the local food.More

Just behind the Sheraton hotel, along the river on bian bian jie (边边街). Previous reviews about the smoky smell must have been taken into account as it smellt fine to us and smokers would go outside. Huge portions, OK prices, good service, good food (Chinese...and Western), fresh juices, excellent atmosphere.More

Near the Sheraton hotel, this was our favorite restaurants when staying a week in Jiuzhaigou. Casual vibe, delicious food, friendly staff, good hangout spot.

Craving western food in JZG? Well, head on down to STAR. We had amazing Hawaiian Pizza and Chicken Cordon Bleu, plus a great tomatoey borsch soup. This is the only western food joint for miles and it is popular with locals. Didn't see any tourists...when I was there. Suspect they use yak cheese for the meals and the fruit and vegetables were uber fresh. Prices were decent and servings were commendable. They do not speak english though the menu has english words. Very generous with their servings of ham, bacon, chicken which is NOT typical of chinese food. All the other chinese places I tried are very frugal with their meat portions for some reason. I suspect they can take reservations if you call ahead and they seem to close by 10pm.More

We stopped here for a late lunch today and were pleasantly surprised. To get there, you have to get on the river side path - turn right if you're coming out of the national park exit, keep going, it's on your left side with a...Heineken sign on the outside and a red sign with the name of the place. We sat in a little booth upstairs over looking the main café and had a fried rice dish and an omelette. Like most places in China, the portions were quite big and the food was very nice here. We never tried western dishes so don't know how good or bad they were - from looking at the menu, it was slightly more expensive than other places but it does have wifi and it's a comfy place to spend a bit of time to chill out in. Especially as there really isn't a massive amount of things to do in the area. They have a well stocked bar which has prices that compares well to other bars that we've been to in China.More

We ate at this restaurant after seeing decent reviews on trip advisor. While they do have western food, it is awful! I'll agree with another post that says it tasted like it was made in the microwave. The inside of the restaurant has an extremely...strong smoke smell as well. Thankfully we got a table outside. The restaurant was not busy at all when we went, a Saturday night in May around 6:00 pm. If you want western food in Jiuzhaigou, I'd recommend eating off the a la carte menu at the Sheridan. It will cost you more, but is a million times better.More

We went there after reading some good reviews on TripAdvisor. The food was terrible, nothing tasted good (and we kept trying...) and everything felt like it was cooked in the microwave. The service wasn't very good as well... Don't go!

This cozy cafe is set along the river behind the Sheraton. The food, both western and asian was surprisingly good. We shared a couple of really good pizzas. Our only complain was how smokey the place was. The fabric decor seems to hold the cigarette...smell A great alternative is a restaurant just opened next door called Tibet 7th Camp. The food was also very good but the place was less smokey. Most of the staff spoke English and added to our eveningMore
