I went to Post Office Pies while visiting Birmingham recently, with family who live locally but had never been. Our group was three adults and two children. We ordered the House Made Meat Balls, Pepperoni Chunk Bread, and Chicken Pesto Pizza. The meat balls were...More

I had the same experience as Grace H below. Walked in (first time at Post Office Pies) and got no greeting. The lady at the register (looking down at the register) "We have at least a 45 minute wait before you'll get your pizza, do...More

Some of the best pizza in Birmingham. Meatball appetizer is solid. Our favorite pizza’s are the white pizza and the swine. Crust is thin but not to thin that it is floppy, fresh ingredients. They do fine in or carry out. If you dine in...More

My husband and I absolutely love the pizza at Post Office Pies and we don’t mind passing several other pizza places to eat at this one. The ingredients always taste fresh and none of the pizzas have that “cookie cutter” look. The staff is very...More

Why must the counter staff be so rude!? There have been times we have had a craving for Post Office Pies and have to decide whether facing the painfully rude counter staff is worth the pizza. On numerous occasions we have walked in and aren’t...More

When in Birmingham and you think of pizza, well, one doesn’t. But clearly I was mistaken not to. This place was recommended by a friend. This pizza joint situated next to the Avondale Brewery is legit. We initially traveled to the go to the brewery...More

We traveled an hour for this "authentic" pizza and it was not good pizza. The atmosphere was seriously lacking in comfort and style. Save your money and go to Slice!

Delicious pizza, cold beer, and a comfortable atmosphere! If you are looking for a fancy, upscale restaurant, this location is not for you! This location has a very comfortable, hip atmosphere with delicious pizza. My co-workers and I sat at the bar and enjoyed watching...More

My family stopped in for lunch after an airport pickup. We thought the pizza was good but not the best in town. Meatballs were good. Employees were nice. A good place for the locals but not a place I would travel across town for.
