This is a small cafe, with limited seating, but we usually manage to find seating whenever we come. It has a very cosy atmosphere and the food tastes home-made (in a good way). The owner, Zeeba, and the staff are really friendly and accommodating. I...am vegetarian, and the lunch meals are usually meat-based, so whenever we plan to visit we call ahead and ask the team to prepare something special for me. They are always happy to do this and I have never been disappointed by what they make for me! The lunch menu changes every day and is usually only a few dishes, but they have small bites and sandwiches that you can eat as well. They have a few nice fresh juices and drinks too - be sure to try their passion fruit juice or melonade! The desserts here are also fabulous - and all Zeeba's recipes! We particularly enjoy the tres leches cake, which has now become my husband's favourite sweet treat in Male'.More

Zeeba's Deli and Cafe' is one of my favorite spots to grab a quick bite in Male'. Its got sandwiches and burgers and have a breakfast and lunch menu that is limited. It's a special place. They don't depend on how many customers they serve...at once. They rely on providing quality, very tasty food so that you're compelled to come back another day. And it works. I love this little cafe'. It has limited seating. Very limited seating. But they encourage take-away, so you can get a sandwich and coffee to go and enjoy it at your favorite spot. I can't say enough good things about this place. The food is great. The cakes and desserts are so so good. The Kanamadhu Cake is my favorite. If you're ever in Male' and looking for good food, Zeeba's should definitely be on your list. It closes at 7pm so you better hurry up! ps. The sauce is spicy. So if you're not into spicy food, don't recommend putting it on your food. Personally, it's one of my favorite sauces. I buy it separately to take home, even.More

We were delighted to find this small café featuring coffee drinks, delicious cakes and sandwiches. Everything is of top quality, service friendly and professional, and the prices are quite fair given the high cost of ingredients. Highly recommended!

It takes guts to leave a well paid job with an established company, follow your heart and open your own business. - Especially so when you are a woman in an Islamic society. Zeeba did just that recently and her success proves that she's on...the right path. Her food outlets are a great mix of old classics (hamburger, subway, toast) and exciting new ones (spinach wrap, home made cookies, great cakes and hot chocolate with little marshmallows.) The Deli & Cafe is tiny, just seats a maximum of 14 guests, which gives Zeeba the time and chance to mingle with guests and connect with them - which adds a great charme to the rustic, lovely decorated interior. Raving reviews on her facebook site and friends who posted photos from a visit, put it on my bucket list too and I went this morning for a classical Maldivian breakfast (mashuni and kulhi mas with roshi). While we were waiting for a new badge of eggs, Zeeba and I had a lovely chat, so time flew. The four roshi were sufficient for a filling breakfast and well done. The kulhi mas was lovely in taste but lacked a little bit of salt and the mashuni had too much chillie in it, which overpowered the delicate flavor of the fish and coconut, and I missed a hint of lime and again another pinch of salt to have it perfectly balanced. For take away I went for the last cinnamon roll (yummy, but the lime in the icing isn't necessary), a slice of freshly baked banana cake and a bag of home made cookies for my daughter. I will you on Zeeba, to keep tasting for perfection, to bring always new and exciting items and to never stop learning the trade and finding joy in your heart. You already have many fans and will get more for sure. Wherever you are in Male they will follow you for your charming, rustic place, your yummy cakes, your hot chocolate with tiny marshmallows and your spirit. I will come again to taste your home-made lasagne and have my fingers crossed that the additional pinch of salt was added.More

The best carrot cake I ever ate. 👍🏼 Good job Zeeba! Everything is home made and the interior looks so homely and posh. The service was a bit slow but the food made me go for a second time.
