Does Wanderers Stand offer takeaway?

Really excellent fluffy bread dishes like eggs on toast and French toast. Latte was EXCELLENT. Shop is bright and cozy with plenty of reading material to pass the time. Highly recommend for a delicious breakfast!

Great coffee and breakfast

For me the best drip coffee in Kyoto. Super friendly staff working here. Breakfast is really good as well. The egg toast with mash is a perfect start on the day!

Excellent breakfast to kick off a complete day of visit

The coffee was very good and we loved the interesting sandwich-pizza which is a pizza topping a sandwich. The egg sandwich was also very nice. The staff is nice and speaks well English. Definitely recommended for strong breakfast before a day of walking the city.

Great Breakfast

The coffee is excellent and the various breakfast toasts are delicious. it's a very small coffee bar but worth a visit.

Excellent coffee!

Stopped into this tiny cafe on the way to Kyoto Station. Quaint cafe with excellent coffee and delicious toast. Ordered their special which was an “ELT sandwich.” They have WiFi available.

Perfect & Cute Breakfasr

They have three breakfast menu, but they're specialist about toast: french toast, pizza toast and eggs toast. They know how to make a real coffee. It's so good and delicious. Local is so cute, comfortable, nice people and friendly. Further, it's close to Kioto Station.

Charming

They serve three options of breakfast: fried egg toast, french toast and pizza toast. All of them are delicious! And they also can make a really good coffee! We were amazed with this little cozy place!

Best little coffee shop in Kyoto

Wanderers Stand is a little coffee shop run by a few guys that obviously love what they are doing. The caffee lattee is just about the best coffee I ever had (and I had plenty...). They have a small menu of simple but excellent breakfast...items, such as french toast or egg sandwich. The guys are very friendly and layed back. I wish these guys much luck with their cafe. Keep up the great spirits!More

Delicious coffee and toast!

We loved the coffee and the amazing toast at the Wanderers Stand in central Kyoto. Definitely worth stopping in, especially if you are craving French toast covered in powdered sugar. It's sliced thin and stacked, making it delicious and not too eggy. My wife had...the regular toast, which she couldn't stop talking about. It was served with a sort of lemon curd butter. Yum!More

Comfort food on a rainy day

Very cosy modern cafe with English menu and a classic pop/rock soundtrack. Simple menu. These owners love their place, and after your delicious toast and coffee, you will too.

Amazing little gem!

Saw this little cafe near our hotel and could believe it only had one review on Trip Advisor! Coffee was smooth and delicious (coming from an Australian who is picky with her coffee!!) made with great care, and the French toast (4 pieces of it)...were also delicious and very filling. Good prices (2000yen for 2 coffee and 2 French toast) and menu was varied enough for breakfast I will be coming back again.More
