Our first dinner in Kunming and appreciated other reviewers recommendation for steak. I had the steak salad and it was delicious: perfectly rare and well seasoned. The salad wanted a little more dressing which was provided promptly. Pastrami sandwich also very good. House wine from...Chile very solid. The Executive chef stopped by our table. Very nice welcome! Hope to return for more steak.More

The Wildfire Steakhouse is one of the few western restaurants in the town provide real good steak dishes. It is not big but every table has a comparatively private space. The service is good since the waiters and waitress look well trained. We tried the...featured filet and their latest hairy-crab roe spaghetti, which are very tasty. The restaurant manager sent us the desserts as gift when he knew it's my birthday.More

This restaurant is a very good place to eat if you want an international cooking. The food quality is very high and the Chinese Chefs are very professional. I’ve had angus fillet from the grill tender like butter, cooked exactly as I asked for and...a Norwegian salmon very fresh and well cooked. My friend had Italian spaghetti which tasted as cooked by an Italian Chef. We are Italians so we can tell you. The service is good enough, but waiters (very kind) need to improve their English. Anyway it has been a very good experience. Try it if you go to Kunming.More

Overpriced for the quality of meat that you get. Staff was friendly but clueless, served our sides before the main course and the sides were already cold when they served them. Had to send them back to get them reheated. Was a struggle to order...wine, because some of the wines we tried to order were not in stock or different from the description in the menu (we order a wine and they came with a bottle that looked the same, but was actually a different grape). Wouldn't recommend it for the money that you spend.More

Food is not bad, but over priced. Service is good. Decoration looks fine. Hotel staff didn’t know the restaurant is in their hotel. Overall just average.

See my review as mentioned above. I would recommend Wildlife without hesitation. The Australian steak was phenomenal, as was the staff and atmosphere.

This restaurant should be much higher on the list in Kunming. My Daughter and I shared an Angus fillet which was fantastically cooked. My wife had a couple of starters, ribs in a spicy sauce and then macaroni cheese (with some truffle) both of which...were great, so all in all, thoroughly satisfied. A day lateralso had a beautiful Caesar salad as a a quick bite. Cynthia and Lisa served us extremely well. Thank you.More

This is fine dining place using all imported meats, so expansive. But the meat is relatively safe, not have much all kinds antibiotics local meats may have, and it is rarely visited by local so it is relatively quite

We arrived at the empty restaurant past 7pm and was greeted with terrible cover versions of 80s pop songs playing in the background. My husband waited for a long time for his starter which arrived only when I had finished mine. My cod was overcooked...and dessert (chocolate pot) was, I strongly suspect, cheap vanilla ice cream sprinkled with crushed Oreo biscuits. Throughout the dinner, the chefs chatted loudly with no regard for the only guests they have despite us providing feedback for them to lower their volume. The bill came up to RMB1096 which is expensive for China, particularly given the poor ambience and forgettable quality of food. Very disappointing experience , especially for restaurant in an international hotel chainMore

Great quality of Australian cuts of beef with a good selection of wines and good service. Waitresses spoke good English and overall a good atmosphere.
