We loved the decor and atmosphere, which was stylish yet welcoming. The service was great - attentive yet discreet. The calamari starter was divine: tender, succulent and light and the cocktails absolutely hit the mark too! They were beautifully presented and delicious, with just the...right amount of alcohol to have a pleasant warm feeling afterwards, while still being able to walk a straight line. If I had any criticism tonight, it would only be that the main course came without a vegetable, and if this was a side, it wasn’t very obvious on the menu. Overall however we had a lovely evening and would definitely like to visit again! It was also very reasonably priced!More

We chose the his restaurant because of the reviews and were not disappointed! Stylo is located within David’s premier hotel , and there were couples, small groups and quite a few single (hotel business people) around us. Nicely decorated, good service, reasonable prices and a...menu selection to suit everyone. Waiters were dressed like Basque fishermen, which added to the atmosphere. We had sangria (it was smoking!!!), followed by Caesar salad, vegetable wrap, cafe con leche and flan. All were really good!More

The restaurant is not inherently bad, just overrated. The food didn't stand apart in taste, just presentation. Great flan, but their black tea tasted like cinnamon.

This used to be the best restaurant in David, but the variety and quality have gone downhill in the past few years. The dinner menu is greatly reduced and they actually ran out of eggs at breakfst one day.

A good breakfast is one of my favorites. This place has gone through some changes over the past couple years. Frankly, it used to be better. The breakfast buffet is ok, But I have had much better and more choices elsewhere. If you are not...to picky and just want something for breakfast, this place will do. However, if you are looking for something special, this is not it.More

The restaurant is attached to the hotel making it convenient for the guest. I was surprised how well it was decorated and well furnished for the eating experience. The service was good, so where the cocktails, and the food for the several times eating there...was also very good and priced well. They have a buffet, or one can order from the menu. The staff is personable and easy to talk with. There is a bar inside the restaurant in an open environment with the lighting well done adding to a comfortable place to eat or drink. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and would also recommend the hotel that was excellent (Ciudad de David hotel). Parking available for the hotel and restaurant.More

We came in off a very early flight from Panama, and made the poor decision to eat at Stylo Restaurant based on the reviews on Trip Advisor. What a waste of time and money. Ordered the very basic holadre with tortilla ($3.00) along with the...Tasajo in tomato and onion. Was licking my chops for a good ‘ol Panamanian style breakfast. What arrived at the table is show in the foto attached to this review. The ridiculously small tortillas which were brought to the table along with the greasy holadre were a laughing matter, seriously. I took a picture of the “tortilla” next to my finger so you can appreciate the size. The tasajo never arrived and none of the servers knew why. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a hint of good food. Stay clear. You are better served by looking to typical food places like “El Sabrocito”, which is not located inside a fancy hotel, but serves good food. If you are looking for nourishment, look elsewhere, this place is a bust...! I have no idea why it’s so highly recommended for breakfast...More

I am glad this restaurant was able to accommodate my diet and make a plant based dinner. Salad bowls were huge and really good, chef also made a yum vegan soup, which was not in the menu. Food was really nice and worth the wait,...service was great too!More

Not all hotel restaurants are created equal! Restaurant Stylo served us an excellent lunch! I had a Peruvian seafood soup for lunch ("Parihuela") - which was very very tasty and fresh and my husband had something which I cannot remember, but he enjoyed it!

We went to this restaurant Sunday night, it was quiet, nicely decorated, the wait staff were great and attentive. Our meal was amazing, we both had steak. I had the skirt steak worth every penny, my husband had the one with chimmicurri...he gave me a...bite. Both meals were really great, I only wish I had had room for dessert.More

Inside the Ciudad de David is a restaurant. It is called Restaurante Stylo and it is fantastic. We went there just for a cup of coffee on the first night and my wife was floored of how good it was. I asked the waiter and...he told me it was Momento coffee, a coffee not sold in stores, otherwise it was exported....very disappointing, so we had another. The next day we had our "included" breakfast...WOW. They had fresh coffee brewed around the clock (Duran, one of my favourites). The fruit was substantious and fresh. They had cereal (various kinds) and the best part: the hot stuff. They had tortillas, hojaldras, bifteck picado, albondigas, pollo con vegetales...truly Panamenian stuff. One of the nights, we went there for just an appetizer. They were doing their big launch so they had photographers and music playing. We were told by the photographer to just be ourselves. I was a little skeptical at first but after a few shots it was easy. The restaurant started to get busier as we left. Arguably the best place to eat in David...excellent food and service!More
