cozy atmosphere, comfortable tables and chairs, excellent service, friendly staff, fast orders. They have an excellent schedule, always open even on holidays. Accesible price. You can pay both in cash and debit or credit card. You can also call by phone to place orders and...so just go to pick up the order at the agreed time.More

Looking for a good Chinese restaurant? Well this is not the place. Stopped in for lunch and was prepared for something tasty. The food I ordered was average at best. I have had much better food at a Chinese buffet. Also, the Won Ton soup...was the worst I have had. Sometimes when we try a new restaurant we never know what we will find. For this one, I see no reason to return. Oh, one more thing. After sitting at the table waiting for service, I had to stand up ready to leave and the waiter then brought a menu. Average food and bad service not a good combination. Next!More

Been several times and is by far one of the best and most authentic Chinese restaurant in Chiriqui. I saw that several people have given bad reviews and this may be because in general, service is a bit lacking in Chiriqui. However, for us service...always has been pretty fast. THe Dim Sum Chinese breakfast is very nice. I usually go there on the way back from the airport for breakfast around 10 am. Have also been several times for lunch. Service is fast, ask for the menu the chinese people get or book a special chinese dinner ahead.More

If you go to Nuevo Futuro you may in fact have a nuevo futuro that involves you spending multiple hours getting acquainted with a bathroom toilet seat. All I can say is that this restaurant would not be open anywhere in Canada or the USA...unless some major $ were slipped into the pockets of a food safety inspector.More

After visiting this restaurant many times in the last several years, I reviewed it in December of 2014, and gave it good marks on service and the quality and freshness of the food, but since then I have visited several more times, and the quality...of the food has NOSEDIVED so much that I can no longer recommend this place! For example, the last time we went there. I ordered the "sisling chicken," which used to be one of my favorites, but the chicken tasted as if it had been cooked two weeks ago, left refrigerated until it was completely dried out and became flavorless, and then was MICROWAVED just before being served to me! YUCK! The formerly crisp and tasty egg rolls were now greasy, soggy (and cold in the center), as were the fried wontons. The wonton soup was GREASY and the meat in the wantons tasted rancid! The first time we noticed the food wasn't up to par, we assumed they had had a "bad day" or the usual chef was on vacation, but after giving them three more chances to show they could still make reasonably good Chinese food, and being more and more disappointed on each visit, we have decided we will no longer patronize this restaurant! It's too bad, because this used to be one of our favorite places, but now, I wouldn't recommend their food for my dogs (in fact, my dogs wouldn't even eat our leftovers when we tried to serve it to them! These dogs will eat ANYTHING, so that should tell you how BAD the food has become at this establishment!)More

we tried to find dong fang, but without luck so we stopped in here instead and we not disappointed. The spring rolls were plentiful especially for only $4 and the " chica wonton sopa" was anything but chica! Whole meal came to $35 which covered...two drinks, two starters, a main course of sizzling shrimp and an enormous dish of fried rice. The waiter was very nice and spoke good English, which although he could have just spoken to my Spanish speaking boyfriend, he made the effort to speak to me in English, which was very sweet. Would definitely recommend going here as a large group so that you can order more items! Also very clean inside, although was a bit saddened to see people using the ketchup provided! Come on people it's a Chinese restaurant!More

My family and I eat here a lot, mainly because it's one of only a few Chinese food restaurants in town, but also because the prices are reasonable, the food is tasty, and the staff is attentive. If you like Chinese food, given the limited...options in David, this is the place to go.More

We came in looking for a quick meal and got horrible customer service and barely any food before we just had to leave. We were seated quickly and given water. The server was quick in taking our order but that's where things turned. The food...took 15+ minutes and when we got the two small dishes, it was cold but tasted ok. We waited and waited for the rest of our food. Other patrons came and went and when we asked for our food, we were told it would be out soon. After a few times of that and probably another 30 minutes later, we paid our meal and left. The manager did not seem at all sorry or concerned (more annoyed by us than anything). We were charged around $10 US for two small dim sum dishes. Worst meal of our two week trip.More

I go to this restaurant at least twice a month for lunch. For starters, compared to many other chinese restaurants, this place is clean! The food is consistent and high quality. One day a week ago, I ordered the Gallina plate with Bok Choy (they...call it the comida rapida for some reason) but it is a huge plate with an incredibly different full bodied rice, sauces and bok Choy) but the owner said he could not supply it. Basically it is chicken with Bok Choy..... well, Gallina is not just any chicken like those raised in a commercial building and then processed, Gallina is open air natural range fed chicken, much more tender and healthy, and the owner would not substitute the cheaper chicken for Gallina and cheat me! He is that honest and caring about the quality he serves. I ended up with the comida rapida of the stewed pork, and that is as tasty a dish as I have ever had, and I order it many times each year now. Seating is comfortable, the decor is chinese but pretty basic..... they didn't spend a lot here but it gets the point across. Sometimes the service is fast and sometimes slow so I just go up to the counter, usually to the owner and just tell him what I want. No problem, and it alerts him to the slowness of the servers at rare times..... this is nothing serious to worry about. TV is usually a chinese program with english subtitles..... and usually very interesting indeed. I have learned a lot about the chinese by watching some of the programs there while dining. For a safe place to eat where you won't come away with an upset stomach, try Nuevo Futuro (means New Future) in Spanish. Chances are you will come away satisfied.More

I visited this restaurant this past week for the second time. Earlier, I went for dim sum. The dim sum was good but not hot. I arrived about 11 o'clock and will try again at an earlier time. This past week I went in the...evening and had a decent meal. Appetizer was ok and the shrimp dinner was good. This same dish at another restaurant cost twice as much. I will continue to try different dishes here.More

However, I insist that this is the restaurant with the most varied menu of dishes as far as Chinese food is concerned, including seafood and all kinds of meats, vegetables ... anyway. they have two menu, simplified one and the other is really amazing because...it shows the list of more or less one hundred dishes which is very hard to pick. Really need more oriental ambience, but for me the food and staff efficiency in every detail is spectacular. please friends do not mention other restaurants in our comments, that takes care tripadvisor team...More

Well I would not call it a gourmet Chinese restaurant, its an old style (even if brand new) Chinese restaurant in one large open space. The ambiance is non existent. Now lets go to the food part, for 28 usd we ordered a meal for...three ppl we were 3 adults and 2 kids and there was no way we could finish it all. What really impressed us was the quality, you could feel the freshness of the ingredient and the care of every dish. This was my fourth option in David since every other restaurant in tripadvisor was closed (its a Sunday) but I am really glad I could try it. The five stars are largely due to the quality and price of the ingredients. If you want a gourmet restaurant go to cuatro for an incredible experience.More
