Very nice to be greeted by the owner at the door. I neglected reservations but we were able to seat our party of 5. Sea food choices were chosen and they looked great, smelled great and tasted wonderful.The service was attentive and served nicely. My husband & I were here for dinner (July of 2019). The sea bass was delicious but a TINY portion of fish (especially considering the waiter came back to our table to ask me what I would like instead of the shrimp because I don't...eat shellfish, and I replied I would like extra sea bass instead). It made me wonder what the "regular portion" of fish must look like. It was not enough to satisfy me. I think it was maybe 5 bites of fish (and I am being generous with my assessment). My husband ordered both the sea bass dish (also without shrimp) and the filet mignon dish (but the waiter misunderstood and only brought him the meat dish). The meat was tough and my HS, having run his own restaurant agreed with me when I said it tasted like a flank steak that had been marinated overnight but was still somehow very tough. A good chef can even cook a flank steak to tender. His portion was very large though. The waiter could not tell me about the red wine (if it was table wine, cabernet, merlot etc.) but I didn't let that bother me, I just know it might matter to some people and the owner may want to know so he can help train the staff about their wine. The staff were all very kind but between not giving me the extra portion of fish I asked for and not giving my HS the fish meal he wanted so he could have a little of the meat dish and take the rest home, we were left a bit disappointed for our first visit. The meat dish was also covered in a gravy (we didn't see mentioned on the menu and he is allergic to several items usually in gravy) so he did not feel well the next day. This may sound like a bad review but we actually want to go back, we will both only order the sea bass or whatever other fish they offer with fins and scales and we truly hope the owner sees this and improves on the fish portions, otherwise we won't return. So if you are reading this, please let your staff know when someone asks for extra bass in lue of the shellfish, to please give him/her a decent portion. I think we saw the owner as we were leaving and he was VERY friendly and kind and so we would like to give the place another try, just because of him and his delicious sea bass dish!More

I usually eat the same thing, my wife has several favorites. I have tried several items, we have never had a meal that was not satisfactory and I am very fussy about my food and also very vocal when it is not good. This is...still our favorite restaurant in ChiriquiMore

A regular stop for us when in David. Fresh delicious food with an excellent traditional flavor. Friendly staff with excellent attention. Cannot ask for more. Definitely recommend.

This Peruvian cuising is the absolutely best fish restaurant in David. The dishes are fantastic and the restaurant itself cosy.
