This place is a little bit different, you have to enter with an open mind, fresh pallet & an empty stomach. Formed by a young & dynamic team with the vision to create something out of the ordinary, using their creativity & ambition to the...fullest. The aim is to respect the ingredients throughout & ensure that the produce & flavours are maintained to the highest standards before & after cooking which is why they do not exceed 80 degrees during cooking. Its not hard to tell that ingredients are of top quality with the majority from organic agriculture & livestock. Emphasis is on keeping suppliers local, less than 50 km from the restaurants, which in turn promotes support for trade in the area. Now to the good bit, the food. Everything here comes in small portions, a trendy spin on the famous tapas dishes. Almost every dish comes in pairs so it’s ideal for partners, friends or groups to order & share. This is what I opted for: Curry cheek croquettes Txipiron croquettes - Croquettes made with squid ink, txipiron pieces, butter & organic milk. Truffled egg - This one is an absolute must !! A potato foam, white truffle oil, low-temperature cooked egg, straw potatoes & ham powder. Chilli Crab ravioli with Thai peanut sauce - My favourite dish of the evening, so good i ordered double !! Fillings of Chilli Crab with a homemade Thai sauce made with peanuts & honey Toasted honey rib sandwich with honey pickled mustard - Toasted tramechini bread with butter, rib filling cooked at low temperature with various spices, honey pickled mustard & a sauce made with rib juice. False risotto of Iberian secret & mushrooms - A special risotto, with onion, leek, death trumpets, thistle mushrooms, meat juice, cream & topped with a crispy black mushroom. Black squid sandwich - Served on black bread, with black kimchi mayonnaise, red curry & chopped red onion, lime, coriander & oil. Overall: **** Price: ££ Food: **** Service: ****More
