This used to be a great place for lunch or dinner. Not anymore. Every time we go here, it's closed. Last Friday night 6:30PM closed. Yesterday Tuesday 12:30PM closed. Time to just give up. Cannot waste time with these unreliable hours. Obviously management doesn't care.
Its the best fish place in town. Only objection is they stopped allowing well behaved dogs in the restaurant.
I love the Fish House and always stop by at least once on a visit to Boquete. The food is delicious and consistant. Great coleslaw!
Very cute restaurant but food was not great and it took about a hour to get our meal. We had the Mahi Mahi and it tasted like they put a jar of HR sauce on it. We also had the fish and chips and it...was overly battered. Ok place if you want to go for lunch but not a great spot for dinnerMore
Mahi.mahi was tough and rubbery. They did exchange for fish and chips. I was surprised as the ratings were very good. Otherwise, a good location...
I recommend getting there early for dinner to avoid long waits. The food was excellent, I had the corvino y fritas and mi esposa had blackened corvina, which he said was really good. Sat at a table with two other travelers and had a great...conversation. Seemed like they could use a bit more help to have a better turnover, we waited a bit for service. Overall great experience!More
I had red snapper with rice and salad. Delicious. A large portion of fish cooked in Cajun spice (but you choose how it’s cooked).
My wife and I loved the lunch we had at the Fish House. She had a green salad topped with grilled corvina, and I had a grilled fish sandwich with onion rings and a green salad (I had a choice of two sides from several...options). The fish in both of our dishes was cooked to perfection. All this plus fresh strawberry juice cost $16.20.More
Best Beer battered fish in Panama had the Cajun style beer battered mero (or grouper) and onion rings with a complementary coleslaw salad friend had the Beer Battered Corvina with Fries and coleslaw
stopped in here for a pre dinner snack with my husband. we had the lobster meat sandwich and a side of patacones. super delicious and price was very affordable
We came here twice for lunch. Awesome seafood, great homemade sauces for the fish, large portion sizes and very well priced. Nice river view out the windows.
I’m really unsure as to why everyone writes rave reviews. The fish is deep fried and heavy. Not at all what I was expecting. Rather disappointing as there were restaurants we could have tried instead.
I really loved The Fish House! If I had discovered it earlier, I would have eaten here multiple times. The menu of seafood options is quite extensive and it’s very reasonably priced. I had a lobster wrap with 2 sides and a coke and I...paid around $11. And it was SO good! The staff is very nice and I highly recommend stopping here for a meal.More
The fish was just amazing. The place feels simple and rustic. We saw locals and expat Americans, no other tourists like us. The price was sharp compared to the other restaurants we saw in the area.
