If I could give more stars I would! The staff were an absolute delight, the owner even came and greeted us, the atmosphere was inviting and the food and coffee amazing. I actually would like to keep the place to myself!

A little Big gem in Boquete and the diamond is your host Lisselott. Seriously, when in Boquete you have have breakfast here. We ordered the blueberry/walnut pancakes. 2 good size pancakes chock-full of blueberries and walnuts. Served with warm maple syrup, butter, honey and jelly....We also had the special 3 enchiladas full of chorizo, eggs and cheese covered with chunky salsa and topped with crema. Huge portion I was stuffed. Cappuccino was delicious. 😋 Next time in Boquete. Olgas will definitely be our first stop. See you soon!More

Omg! This breakfast was sooo worth the wait! We waited for about 10 min and when we were seated we were told it would be an hour wait for food. We had just arrived in Boquete and couldn’t check into Hotel until 2. (It was...9:45) so we said “no problem” Let me tell you - it was worth the wait! Unbelievable food. They were slammed and after waiting an hour, they brought our children’s food but said they accidentally gave ours to someone else. They apologized profusely and rushed ours. No worries. It was out in 10 min piping hot and fresh. We had banana pancakes, huevos rancheros (get the Panamanian bread with it!!!), Swedish pancakes with blueberry whipped cream and banana (yum!) and the veggie bacon omelet. Literally perfect in every way. Olga herself came by and apologized (it really wasn’t a big deal) and sought us out when we left to hug us goodbye and apologize again. Not necessary. We will definitely be back!More

While on tour with Retire in Panama Tours, we were taken to a delightful Panamanian breakfast restaurant in Boquete called Olga’s. The food was wonderful, but the hugs were even better. No fake-hug / back taps … but a full frontal embrace. The kind of...hug you might expect from your mother. Olga’s restaurant is attached to her home, so occasionally you see her 4 tiny dogs or her pet parrot! And when you leave, there is another warm embrace and the whispered words, “Mi Amor”. Some people go to Olga’s for the excellent food. I’ll return for the hugs.More

This place is also known as Olga's Place and the food here is wonderful. Prices are reasonable and the menu has a little of everything. The atmosphere here is cozy and so relaxing. My husband & I meet a local woman that was siting at...the table next to us and she has lived here all her life and as far as she's concerned this is the best place for breakfast or brunch. All the food is fresh and creative, this is a most stop if you are in the area.More

So enjoyed my breakfast at Olga's. Food was delicious and menu extensive. Olga endearingly refers to her guests as "mi amor" and often provides hugs at the beginning or end, which feels like you are a guest in her home. Highly recommended when you're in...Boquete.More

Also known as Olga's Place, this is the place to go for breakfast. We ate there every morning we were in Boquete. You are greeted by Olga, the owner, with a hug every time you come in. The place is filled with plants and flowers,...the cuttings of which she adorns her dishes with. The portions are huge and DELICIOUS! English is spoken very well there, although we tried out our limited Spanish there, which delighted the staff. Do not miss this place if you are in Boquete or the area.More

We absolutely LOVED Olga's. The atmosphere was adorable, and we loved that we were literally being invited into somebody's home. Olga herself is the most wonderful woman we met in Panama. She taught us that "cafe es muy importante" (Coffee is very important) and greeted...us like old friends on our first visit. The menu is extensive, and very affordable. We didn't feel guilty getting our own meals and splitting pancakes for dessert! We came back here multiple times. because we love supporting good people. If you want to be treated like family, visit Olgas.More

Simple, cheap local diner serves breakfast to locals. Menu in Spanish outside. Spanish speaking staff. Tables weren’t clean and lots of flies. Inattentive service. Maybe they had an off day, but I was disappointed.

Small cafe in pretty setting on small covered porch. Menu on board outside cafe. No English translations or English spoken. Good coffee, very large fluffy pancakes, and tasty granola. Very cheap breakfast.

The owner Olga starts out as super sweet with a hug and kiss, but then she pretty much disappears. The food is just average cooked out of basically a home kitchen, but the real draw here is to converse with the local duffer expats to...get info on relocating and to get an insiders feel on the area.More
