Should have written this review earlier but hey ho.Was in Hoi An again in early February and came across this place by chance. Was my 5th time in Hoi An so why I had missed it previously God only knows.Anyway, being a craft ale fan and working...for a small craft brewery in UK,I was very impressed.Good range of quality craft beers and friendly attentive staff.Spent nearly every day in the place.Good bar food also.Nice layout but good to sit outside on the street watching the world go by.Other comments about pricey beers unfounded as quality comes at a price.Yes you can get cheap beers in VN but it's all same same. Not a fan of bland lager type beers.Special mention to Nick, who was bar manager on a number of occasions I was there and the charming Vietnamese lady owner, who expertly taught me the correct way to pronounce Bahn Mi !! Good luck for the future and see you again soon Mick from Bolton.More
No matter where you go, some days you just want the pleasure of great beer. Humanity cannot live on Asian lagers alone. My recommendation is to visit the Japanese bridge site in the afternoon, so you can walk across it and find the Tap House...on your left near the end of that street. Also, the soundtrack here is always excellent. High quality blues and vintage Rock.More
Nice cosy bar with a great range of vietnamese craft beer. Wonderful to sit outside on the busy street with a beer and watch Hoi An pass you by. Made all the better by helpful attentive staff with good beer knowledge. If you like you...can even duck across the road and bring back the very best Banh Mi (Anthony Bourdain's opinion) or a genuine thai banana roti from my favourite street vendor. No need to though, there is good food to be had onsite, especially the coffee and toasted paninis.More
This is a great little bar. We tried a couple of different craft beers and all were excellent. A great place to sit and watch people walk by.
Love this little bar. Great friendly service, interesting selection of cask beers with a 2 for 1 happy hour 4pm to 6pm. The exterior is beautiful too with lots of folk stopping for a selfie.
Loved this place. Great spot for a couple pints after walking old town for the day. Burger was great and the staff working there are super nice. Tried the draught lagers and ciders and they were amazing for a warm evening.
We stumbled into Taphouse while walking the old town one evening. They have a selection of craft beers from Vietnam from 5-6 different breweries. It was nice to mix up from the selection of local Asian lagers Larue/333/Tiger/etc with some IPAs and other varieties. Prices...100-110 VND per drink are in line with a cocktail at surrounding bars.More
Tap House surprised us completely. We walked in and were the only people (for the time being). We hesitantly looked at the menu and then took our seats outside on the busy but enjoyable walkway. I had the chicken and bacon burger, my girlfriend had...the pizza and it was honestly world class. One of the best chicken burgers I’ve had ! Highly recommend . Cute and vibey with helpful staff !More
We stopped here by chance as The Taphouse has beautiful lanterns out the front an old wooden frontage, but made several more visits here during our stays The staff were all very friendly and spoke good English. The range of beers and ciders was also...impressive and the staff had good knowledge on the range. There were also cheese and cold meats available, but we stuck to the drinks. I personally loved the Sour Mango cider! Plus there is a happy (few) hours - 2-4-1 beers. Would recommend.More
Visited Tap Room as it looked nice and all we were looking for was a snack. 2 panini and 2 drinks later we paid more than we’ve paid for dinner. The staff were not interested in any of the clientele and didn’t even have a...thank you when paying the check. We will not return!More
Stopped by on the way and loved the place! Can also have a beer tasting The sandwiches were all really good!!
Manager was English speaking and quite frankly too important to bother with customers who were also English speaking, a bit of a let down so didn’t bother to stay long. The hospitality from veitnamese local street bars was way better.
Walked in midway after a banh mi from the shop in front..... I was the only one.... the ladies had no ideas what they were selling.... would have been useful to have someone who knows the drink behind the counter.... with some trial and error...found the ones I like.....the beer was great so that’s all that matter!! :)More
We had planned on coming here on a number of occasions but didn't make it. Kicking myself in the ass for not getting here sooner. The quality of the food is well with the visit, the craft beers make this a sessionable local in Danang....Get your ass to Tap House!More
