Food is very tasty, and the beer is good and inexoensive. I was there for a group dinner, and really enjoyed the place. I recommend it for any occasions, but specially for groups.

Beer is really, really good, but the food is on a average level by taste but for this beer can be forgiven.

Went to the Brewery several times while staying in Donetsk. Food and drinks were great, and the Karaoke Bar was lots of fun. Visited in July 2013, I hope this place is still open since the "DPR"/Russian occupation, I would like to go back there.

My fiance had to go to work and I had nothing to do. Being a brewer myself I looked for a brewery to have lunch and a few beers.
The facility is impressive. Glass, wood, servers dressed impeccably. Any nicer they might not let me in. I walked upstairs to the bar. I sat there and spoke with a young bartender who was busy cleaning the couple hours I was there. I smoked a couple Cuban cigars they sell there. I drank each of there beers. All were unfiltered and cloudy with yeast. Not my favorite style but none were bad. I left there after 3 or so hours having smoked 2 Cubans and drank more beer than my fiance was happy with when she got home and the whole bill was less than $40.
It is an outstanding restraunt that is very reasonably priced judging by my US standards. You can take your wife to dinner there and drink, eat. ... tea (comes with several types of biscuits and cookies) for dessert and leave for $50. Just going in a place in the US as nice and staff as well dressed will cost you $150 a couple easily.
Go here. Smoke a Cuban upstairs, have a glass of port and enjoy an imperial moment before dinner downstairs.

A good looking restaurant just off the main boulevard in central Donetsk. Good burgers and salats. Not efficient staff. I was there during the ongoing war so for the situation the restaurant was good.

This was a short walk from the Donbass Palace hotel and has a wonderful 'beer garden' feel. We sat outdoors. Food and service were both very good. The only downside is the prevalence of smoking and even though there are different sections, you cannot really avoid the cigarette smoke.

The Hughes Brewery is iconic dine-out place in Donetsk. Its interior reminds of an upgraded pub with a bit lighter and modern atmosphere though. The place is famous for its own brewed beer which I did not try though. They offer a variety of 6 beers for tasting so if you are beer connoiseur - do not miss it! The food is typical mixture of European cuisine and most popular local dishes. I ordered steak - it was good but took forever to serve - not less than an hour or so. Same with the rest of our big company. However, starters were served quickly so if you want quick grab of something - make sure you order a starter. Check is average to high depending on your dish of choice.

Beer good! Menu the same already how many time. Заказыть has nothing from menu, all very boring and gloomily. Very small dishes are from fish - хоспер dish of terrible quality. Burgers were spoilt! Instead of beef in these burgers will find pork and куринный stuffing, that simply HORROR! These burgers also can prepare реа or мидиум реа for you. Be careful, simply IMPERMISSIBLE! Bow rings most terrible are in city. BEER GOOD!

Beer restaurant " Hughes brewery" named after the founder of Donetsk John James Hughes . Visitors can watch the process of the production of beer and immediately try to live freshly brewed beer.
" Hughes brewery" - perhaps the biggest restaurant in the Donetsk region . Total number of seats places - 700 (450 seats - 3 floor restaurant and 3 levels of outdoor area - 250 seats ) . Some tables are equipped with personal pouring beer taps with counters , which visitors can enjoy yourself .
European cuisine . 6 beers " Pilsner " - a light lager , "Porter " - dark, " Amber " - Amber , " Golden El " - Belgian-style , " Stout " - and in angliyskomstile " Weissbier " - wheat . Large selection of beer snacks .
Live music: jazz, chamber music background , pop groups . Zone Wi-Fi. There are billiards, karaoke , children's playroom.

Had lunch here today (party of 2) and really enjoyed it. Wide variety on the menu. Our hotel recommended the sausages, so we tried 2 different kinds. Both were excellent. Each came with its own accompanying sauce. Excellent side dishes, too. Great draft beer choices, in 3 sizes.
We found the entire meal to be perfect for this time of year. Cold, windy & damp, weather? This is tasty, stick-to-your-ribs food that'll keep you warm and fortified for the walk back to the hotel.
Enjoyed the design/style of the place, in particular. Distinctive exterior, which is easy for out-of-towners to find. Large-yet-cozy dining room, with roomy tables and good lighting. Excellent rest rooms.
The service is a little ... well, let's say "uneven". But it's consistent with what seems to be the local standard/practice. Not bothersome, unless you find yourself in a hurry.
Will definitely visit again!

Ate here two times and found the food quite good. It can be busy in a fun way late night. Cool, hip crowd. Lots of different areas to choose from, depending on whether you are smoker or non-smoker or sports fan.
