Very cozy relaxing old town surrounded Alps. Quite interesting Grappa museum which is free. Many nice ceramic things at small shops. If you go through is really worth spend a couple of hours on the wooden bridge and walk around.

We had a wonderfull time on last sunday.
Town is beatifull and full of energy.
Watch the sunset and drink Nardini on the brifge.

My favorite place in Donetsk. Good service, nice atmosphere and super delicious food. Very high standarts of serving and preparation of the dish.the wine list is very good aswell. I feel like in europe and can only advise this place.

Nice restaurant in Donetsk, pizza and pasta are very good, service is good but slow, and if you are there try vulcano desert something like souflee, very good.

Disclosure - Was watching my diet that day (sorry, can't testify for pasta). Loved seeing an oven in the dining area, with a pie made right in front of you. Large variety of pizza toppings - my fave was a vegetarian pizza with zucchini and eggplant among other veggies. The salads, although pricey, are large in size and fresh. Good wine list. Clean place with well-trained waiters. Very suitable for westerners.

Read several good reviews about this restaurant, so decided to visit it for a special occasion, and I was not disappointed. This place has something that many of the local restaurants lack, good service. The waiters were well informed, very polite, and helpful in every way possible.
We ordered a salad (with avocado, tomatoes, and salted salmon), a salmon tagliatelle pasta, and a rabbit fillet with mashed potatoes. The food was tasty, but the presentation can be still improved. To accompany our dishes the waiter recommended the amazing white wine Soave Mito Doc, Monte Tondo (2011). We also ordered a tiramisu, both the presentation and the composition are unique but in my opinion it lacked a kick of espresso.
Plus, nearby there is the Bassano bakery which I also highly recommend for some coffee and lovely cakes!
To sum up, this is a must ‘go’ for anyone who want to see the refined side of Donetsk, but this does come with a price.

When visiting Donetsk for the first time, I had a dinner with business partners there. Food was pretty good: duck trotters were particularly good, beef carpaccio and pasta with lamb didn't disappoint either. Service was good, even that somewhat slow. Design-wise maybe not the best example ever but nice, plain, simple.

for Italian cuisine aficionados I may strongly recommend Bassano del Grappa restaurant in Donetsk. Above all, they have 'history" which is not always the case in Ukraine where there are not so many eating places with long history.
As already mentioned, they have a good quality Italian food and an interior pretty similar to those family place you find in Italy
Location is also good - on a pretty little street in the city centre with a lot of lush trees which add to the ambience of the spot. In the summer time you may enjoy an open terrace
Also, I would recomment to try their confiserie nearby - a good selection of various desserts

I have now been here three times over the past year. The food has always been very good to outstanding and the service attentive. The sommelier, Ruslan, really knows his wine and is very helpful. This will always be among my first two or three choices for dining when visiting Donetsk.

good food, although supply of fresh ingredients is sometimes limited. Adjacent to the restaurant is a small bakery and coffee shop. It is one of the best in town. I like their selection of sandwiches and magnificent apple/cherry strudels - highly reccommended

Great place in Donetsk with a high-class italian food. Wine card is one of the hidden gem of this restaraunt. Visit is a must!

It was my first visit and I really liked this place. My friends (they go to this restaurant every time they’re in Donetsk) and I were there in June on the open-air terrace, which was quite enough in spite of city center location. The cuisine was sophisticated and delicious. The waiter was very helpful and friendly (he recommended me an amazing season salad and dessert both with white asparagus). I was impressed. In my opinion, it’s one of the best restaurants in Ukraine. So, next time I’m in Donetsk I’ll certainly go to this restaurant.

although the decor couldbe a little more coszy, this was a very nice place
Food was almost authentic, certainly made with guto
The wine butler was great and he didn't want to rip us off = when I aksed for a bottle (rather cheap) he told me there was none left. You'd expect he'd come with far more expensive bottle, quite the contrary - he came with a proposal, it was same or slightly cheaper and the wine was delicious.
I'd certainly go again
