This place look very beautiful and has a nice atmosphere. It's actually a hotel restaurant and it's highly recommended. The arrabiata spaghetti are especially delicious and worth to try.

Pretty nice place in Donetsk. It's a hotel restaurant, but lots of local people are coming to experience a special atmosphere and delicious dishes of the place. This restaurant is a nice place to celebrate birthday in the evenings. In a day time it's perfect...to have a business negotiations or lunch with your business partner. There is also "Terrasa" cafe on the floor higher and it's also great. The last dish I had there was Thai noodles and it was gorgeous.More

the menu is brought to you in 3 volumes. but do not despair -- what they advertise they do not necessarily serve. the turkish menu -- by far the most attractive of the entire variety -- simply doesn't exist. but to take the pages out...-- or to cross off the dishes -- is obviously beyond the scope of financial possibilities. otherwise, i cannot fathom why they'd put the staff through the daily recital of "we apologise for the inconvenience, but..." perhaps not entirely unlike everywhere else in Ukraine, the chef is obsessed with dousing everything with oil and butter. even the steamed vegetables. even when you ask for them NOT to use oil. it matters not. be prepared to find a stick of butter in pretty much everything, including an espresso. now, the scene is what you should be after, really. the restaurant, particularly the terrace, attracts scores of Donetsk's young, beautiful and decked out in ridiculous combination of Gucci (c)(tm) shirts and all sorts of lace, glitter, sequins and towering high heels. if the amusement is lost on you, then onwards with the conquest: most girls are available and are here precisely for the purpose of winning over a bachelor who can whisk them away from the clean, but extremely boring industrial town. what is above and beyond praise at this place is the waist staff. they rush and run and are extremely polite and even if you are determined to drive them insane and suicidal with your antics -- they'll pass the test, the murderous glimmer in their eyes being the only thing that could possible give away their real feelings towards you. overall -- not too shabby for the country and region. but the oil/butter REALLY has to be an option.More

The place keeps expanding - since my last visit the main/old dining area has been added with more space, and recently they have opened an outside terrace, which I decided to check out. It seems that the terrace is in vogue: young and stylish local...crowd prevails. I arrived around 6 pm with a thought of a light early dinner at the new terrace. The hostess was seemingly overwhelmed by high volume of diners. Without a smile or apology she said that, if I want to eat here, I have to finish my meal by 6:30 - the tables are reserved. Since I was raised in the family, where dinner does not mean marathon, I went to the main dining area on the second floor. Upon my entering, the host (a young gentleman with " justin bieber" haircut) pointed his finger towards the dining room, and was following ME, because I was supposed to select a table, apparently. Since that point, all went well - salad was the way I remembered it to be (remember, Ukrainians looove mayo!, and if you are not a fan, say so!), the wine list has not changed much, and my desert was yummy. The waitress was very quick and kind. PS - there is no sea in Donetsk (although the general description of the restaurant says so :)) - this restaurant is located on the river bankMore

Everything here corresponds with the high level of the hotel: good service, excellent food, good wine, pleasant atmosphere. I have been there at least four times and will certainly come again. There is only one minus - waiters are not very good in english, which...makes it quite difficult sometimes to get alone with foreigners. Though I bet this problem is temporary and quite possible to fix. Good lobby-bar! I like design and service, though I liked it more with the lounge or chill-out music played. Now they have a DJ playing and it got too noisy in the bar. Conversation became not possible there, you have to shout.More
