This place was recommended to us by our hotel. We did visit in November during COVID times, but it still had some patrons. Unfortunately, the signature "Dibek" dish for two was very disappointing. It was obvious they had 6 pans under a warmer, and just...served it up whenever someone ordered it. We were served 3 minutes after ordering, and half of the dishes were luke warm. This would be expected from a roadside petrol station, but not a sit down restaurant with a good looking wine bar. Not an expensive loss, but look somewhere else if you want decent food.More

What happened! Your restaurant when I visited last year was great - but today everything was just aweful. The service was hurried , even thou we were the only guest in the restaurant . The food came , your signature dish beef pottery kabab tasted...as if it was a left over from the night before . No dish presentation at all . The pasta in yogurt sauce was cold , our Shepard salad tomatoes were not fresh. We left the restaurant pretty disappointed . We wish that you bring back the quality of food , like last year.More

Food was good here for Goreme. Try the Testi Kebap (cooked in the pottery) and definitely DO NOT FORGET to order the baklava. Wow. SO AMAZING. Thanks to Mehmet (spelling?) we had an amazing dining experience with fantastic customer service!

Total dissapointment! The food was avarage. It was not hygienic . No covid rules applied. When ı asked the guy who was serving us why hes not wearing a mask. He said you are not wearing a mask as well and it doesnt make a...difference. Very rude. I dont recommend to eat.More

When we first arrived in Goreme we were looking for a restaurant to eat at we took a restaurant that was directy on the main street and we wete so disapointed it was expensive and of bad quality. On our second I looked online and...read about Dibek. The restaurant has a small entry and look rather fany from the outside. It is not. It is a traditional turkish Restaurant where you eat the trafitional way on the floor. So lovely!! Also the food is amazing. We tried the typical pottery kebaf. Delicious as well as some soup and dessert. I can't remember all names but it was amazingly good!More

Food was overrated and service was awful. Ambiance is fairly nice but I wouldn't go back. One of our entrees was completely wrong and when we asked to have the correct meal it never came. Normally I would just eat what's in front of me...in that case but they had brought a bowl of yogurt with cucumbers which wasn't enough for dinner. Other food (mezze) was underwhelming compared to other amazing meals in Goreme.More

Definitely AVOID!!! This is a tourist gimmick. The prices touch sky high. The only positive point about this place is its ambiance. Service is pathetic. I ordered pottery kebab here and they got it in 10 mins. Unlike how it's made in other restaurants, they...already had the pot open and they bluffed that they are opening it right in front of our eyes. I have a video of their scam but google isn't allowing me to upload it for review. Their dish was cold and when we complained about it, they said that this is how its supposed to be. We had eaten pottery kebabs in other restaurants for 1/3 of the price and it was significantly better in taste and preparation.More

we went for the food but were a bit underwhelmed by it. the atmosphere of the building was good and it had a very authentic feel to the place especially sitting on the Turkish cushions on the floor to eat

Normally we heard you have to book this restaurant weeks in advance but as we traveled during this terrible time it was super quiet. The staff were super friendly and very helpful with their recommendations. The food was excellent and displayed local homemade turkish cuisin...at its finest. I would highly recommend anyone coming through Cappadocia to try to come eat here as the food is fantastic, the hospitality amazing, and the atmosphere was very rustic as we were partially inside a cave.More

You can easily publish your review here: ask TripAdvisor: restaurant Dibek, Goreme and there you are. I did and it works. Really perfect place for dinner and I advised all the guests to visit this restaurant.

Better to make reservations, esp if you want the clay pot
