Delicious food and excellent service

Great selection of mezze and oh my god such amazing food. They've explained to us that a lot of their food is sourced locally or from areas that are known for that food and everything was just so delicious! The ambiance was cosy and laid back. If you are in the Kas area and you want to experience the authentic Turkish meyhane culture and have some raki this is a great place and they also had a decent selection of local wines and beers etc. too. I am Turkish and we had some guests over from England and we wanted to take them to a place with a bit of a wow factor but the problem was we'd never been to Kas before :) We decided to go with this place based on a friend's recommendation and I think we made the right choice there. Our guests had a lovely time and so did we. I think the prices were about the same as a couple of other places we researched so probably average for the area. If you want to try something special there is a mezze -unfortunately I forgot its name- that they make with fresh herbs picked up from the mountains in the area. Staff is really knowledgeable and friendly and they even recommended us places to visit in the nearby area that are non-touristy and that the locals go to. All in all 10/10 experience. I don't usually leave reviews but had to make an exception for this one.

If you are in Kas and looking for a spot to eat well, drink peacefully while listening relaxing music this is the place you should visit before ending my comment i dont want to miss to say big thank you to very sweet staff of this lovely Turkish "Meyhane". Bu yorumda Türkçe olsun, Kaşa geldiyseniz hiiç macera aramanıza gerek yok. Buraya gelin güzel mezeler harika servis ve güzel müziğin keyfine varıp otelinize dönün. A++ mekan tavsiye olunur.

Great Variety of Yummy Food!

My hubby, two kids and I had a great dinner here. The hostess/server was absolutely delightful and brought over the game of Jenga to entertain my kids while we waited for food. There was a live musician with a wonderful, relaxing voice who made the evening extra special! My husband had octopus, I had grilled veggies with rice, and my kids had kafte meatballs with fries/chips… and of course, we had baklava with ice cream to finish. Everything was perfect, and I would highly recommend this place to others.

Not second best restaurant in kas

Perfectly ok Staff were good the owner was very helpful explaining the dishes .My sea bream was ok but overpriced my wife's seafood casserole was small and lacking in seafood. A Scots couple on the next table from us didn't want to pay at all his seafood casserole was over salty Suggest you try others before here. Setting was nice tho.

Merhabalar restaurantimiza ilk geldiginiz andan itibaren sizinle ilgilenen personel benim ve aynı zamanda aile restaurantimizin sahibiyim. Çok keyifli başlayan gecemiz bahsettiğiniz beyin yemeği konusunda tutarsız tavırları sebebiyle sizi düsündürmüş olabilir. Beyin eşinin de onunla aynı görüşte olmadığını belirtmeliyim Gecenin sonunda o misafirimiz de restaurantimizdan mutlu ayrıldı ve yine geleceğini belirtti. Restaurantlarda böyle şeyler olabilir, önemli olan çözebilmek. Üstelik o gün başka masalardaki misafirlerimizden de aldığım görüşler doğrultusunda tuz ve porsiyon ebatı konusunda olumsuz bir dönüt almadım. Deniz ürünleri güveç restaurantimizda en çok tercih edilen ürünümüzdür. Ülkenin güneyinde yer alan Türk restaurantlari arasında fark edilir derecede yüksek hizmet veren restaurantimiz her akşam doludur ve çoğu zaman misafirlerimiz restaurantimizda yer almak için rezervasyonundan erken ayrılan misafirlerimizi dahi beklerler. Misafirlerimizin genel eğilimi Türkiye'nin mevcut kötü ekonomisine rağmen fiyatlarımızın Kaş bölgesine göre uygun olduğudur. Güveç yemeklerimizi klasik türk kapları olan sıcak toprak ya da metal güveç tabaklarinda servis ederiz ve sadece deniz ürünleri değil tavuk, kuzu köfte seçenekleri de mevcuttur fakat şimdiye kadar misafirlerimizden porsiyonun yetersizliği konusunda bir şikayet almamış idik. Değerlendirmeniz bizim için çok önemli. Restaurant isletmek ve mutfakta çalışmak çok zordur çünkü her şey insan emeğidir ve aksilikler olabilir. Önemli olan telafi edebilmektir. . Restaurantimizdan ayrılmadan evvel durumdan haberdar olsa idim kesinlikle bir çözüme ulaşırdık ve memnuniyetinizi sağlamak adına elimden geleni yapardım. Tüm bunları telafi etmek için sizi restaurantimiza tekrar bekliyoruz. Ayrıca personellerimiz konusundaki motive edici değerlendirmeniz için çok çok teşekkür ederiz. Disappointing experience

Disappointed after reading the glowing reviews. We booked a table and were pleasantly greeted by the owner. We ordered food and drink with some delay on the food. The food arrived 2 x seafood casserole which had flat bread covering the main meal. On moving the bead on both dishes the 'alleged' food was disgusting burnt crisps of something in oil. The photo shows the meal as presented. It was shown to the owner untouched who apologised and said the chef had made a mistake. The other 2 meals were chicken casserole and were brim full of oil/fat, uneatable. The owner apologised and offered to replace the meals but we declined. Truly disappointing that a chef can serve up such a disgusting meal and that waiting staff can serve it. The owner was apologetic and did not charge for 4 beers we had been served. The food was quite expensive and the beer was very overpriced but we went there because of the glowing reviews.

Fantastic service, excellent food

My friend and I (college aged) visited this restaurant for dinner in Kas and it was one of the best meals we have ever had. The service was incredible and to top it all off, the food was delicious. The owners of the restaurants are extremely kind people and took the time to get to know us and recommend dishes. This is a place that I would recommend to anyone looking for a great, affordable meal in Kas.

Service disappointing

We were a party of 6. We arrived at 9.15pm and were greeted and seated promptly. Things went a bit downhill from there. The wine we chose was not available and the alternative was pretty average. We ordered a selection of mains and waited for 1 hour 45 mins for the food to arrive, even then one of the order was incorrect which resulted in one of us waiting a further 15 minutes. They did bring us complimentary mezes, but this didn’t make up for the wait. The owner was gracious and apologised profusely, the waiter, however seemed to find it amusing. What they should have explained when we arrived was they had a large party of 20 and how long the wait would be. The owner did make a concession on the bill after we challenged it, which was something. It is unfortunate, the service soured the evening and we won’t be back, as two of our party thought their food excellent.

At Last!

We’ve been in Kas for nearly a week, trying to find a restaurant that serves fresh and uniquely flavored salads (our favorite dish—and we’ve had some world class salads in our travels) and traditional dessert. At last, we’ve struck gold. The salads were meticulously and artfully composed, the ingredients farm fresh, the olive oil and balsamic from their own farm, and the family that runs it so dear and lovely—we will be back again and again, as we’ll be here for another week. Vegetarians: this is your destiny.

We saw the reviews, we went. The restaurant is very pleasant and also service was courteous and efficient. We quickly ordered jumbo prawns pan, mushroom pan, grilled sea bream, chicken shank, and a halumi salad. We did note the prices seemed high but we thought we’ll it might be really good or the portions might be large. However that was not the case . The jumbo prawns were rather medium size, 3pcs for 570tl. Plus they were mushy And soft, which either means not fresh or overcooked. The sea bream also was not as good as last nights dinner in the same neighborhood. The halumi salad was mediocre and full of corn. Definitely overpriced! We were in Kas last October as well and have found all prices have increased however at this place the Repricing has been ore severe.

Lovely food, just be clear how and when you want each course served

The food was lovely, very tasty and nicely presented...when it eventually arrived. It was worth waiting for though. Also, be very clear how you want your food served. We expected all four starters to arrive at the same time, followed by main courses all served together. Not our experience. One starter arrived on its own - perhaps they thought it was to share - but then why would we have ordered four starters?! Some mains came out with the starters and other people were sat waiting. They were very apologetic once they realised and are lovely people - just be clear in explaining what you want, when.

Hello, thank you very much for your constructive comment. We have a special cuisine in Kaş, including local Turkish dishes and international dishes. We supply all our ingredients from the regions where they are famous and present them to our guests with the interpretation of our two master chefs. The service approach that continues by sharing that you mentioned is a service that should be provided to Turkish families. However, for our guests from Europe or other countries like you, as you mentioned, all the starters should be delivered together and the main courses should be delivered together and at the standard cooking time by contacting you or at the end of the desired time by making sure that a long dinner is planned. You can also choose a dish from the starters section as your main course, and our service staff should have reported this to our kitchen. I think we made mistakes on these points. Recently, there was an error in our electronic system for 3 days and we had to work manually. This affected our entire working system and this required our service personnel, who did not yet know our guest profile, to take orders. This is what happened to us at your dinner, which was entirely in good faith. We have already held the necessary meeting and taken the necessary precautions before you wrote a comment. We would like to state that we are waiting for you again with a much better service. With all our love from our hearts🙏

This is such a great find! We often eat visit Kas for the day and eat out while there, this new discovery has gone straight to the top of our favourites list. They have a really good vegetarian menu with some different dishes to the usual stuffed aubergine and mezes, the food is locally sourced and organic and the service is super-friendly, informative and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Our cherished restaurant in Kas holds a special place in our hearts. During our delightful two-week stay with family and friends, we explored various dining options, but this place captured our affection instantly, making it our go-to spot for multiple visits. The owners' warm and polite demeanor, coupled with the delectable food and enchanting live Turkish music every evening, created an unforgettable experience. Even the kids adored the place! Highly recommend it to everyone.

I only can say that this restaurant it is a must for your visit in Kaș! The atmosphere is very pleasant, romantic for a couple dinner but also chic for a friend's night out but also proper for anytime you want quality food and time. People working there put passion and kindness in everything they do and the food is amazing. I traveled in Turkey but this remains my favorite spot for best food and people. Just go there and enjoy.❤️

This place is an absolute gem, we loved everything about it. The food was outstanding - we had a few mezzes and shared the grilled sea bass. Everything was so flavourful. The service was also amazing, the owner is very genuine and lovely. There was live music playing when we were there and the vibe was perfect!
