These good reviews must surely be about a different restaurant. This is a trap. We became hostages to the extremely slow and rude service. By the time we noticed our wait is exceeding 90 minutes (for simple curries), it was too late to go anywhere...else. We would have just left and gone, otherwise. Food was extremely average and the price is more than some other nearby. The service is awful and the owner is really rude. the first night he just sent us away, saying there were too many people. Compared to many restaurants around, there weren't. the second night he let us stay. we ordered at 7.30 and got our food 9.15 p.m.! When we told him, he didn't even apologise. It's absolutely pathetic. Everyone was bored and walking around waiting for their food. The owner uses his son to serve food, a little boy that jumps around with people's meals on plates. This is so unprofessional. Nobody wears a mask and a filthy cloth cleaned our table when we arrived. Sorry but there are many better places around. Don't waste your evening and just drive or walk passed this.More

This was by far our worst experience in Hua Hin. Really mediocre food that takes hours, literally, to arrive. The host only seems friendly but in fact is very rude. He didn't even apologise. There are many many better restaurants within walking distance. Avoid this...tourist trap.More

Coming back after 3 years, new location but same goood food. The most welcoming owners. I will really recommend this place for good Thai food. !

A second time we ate very well. Eat Thai authentically. Some can determine the sharpness themselves. Super quality, it cooks without flavor enhancers. The best recommendation in Hua Hin

Very tasty Thai food with a modern twist. Also the wine matched perfectly. The staff is very nice, too and made some pictures of us in front of the bar, nicely decorated broth 2 swings.

Lovely restaurant serving fantastic Thai food. Friendly welcome and a chef who is happy to spend time with the customers. Deserves to be busier so go and eat there.

We remembered the fabulous food at DAR from our previous visits to Hua Hin and yet again we loved everything we ate in our four visits this time. Memorably the fishcakes, green curry and the Australian beef dishes which were just amazing, also perfect morning...glory. Salina and Rocky are so warm and friendly and still smiling and welcoming after all they have been through, they are now in a different place but absolutely worth seeking out at their new location just before Cicada Market on the opposite side of the road. Actually closer for us at the Amari Hotel. See you next time.More

A very friendly welcome by the host Rocky, who immediately puts you at ease. The food is damn good. Cooked with so much love, you can taste it! Absolutely worth a visit!!

Oh my goodness. These guys took a kicking over covid. Only opened up the borders beginning of this month and business is super slow everywhere in Hua Hin. Nevertheless, they pulled together simply the most awesome food, fast, fresh and perfect. I had the sirloin...in red curry sauce with pineapple rice, my wife had the sirloin salad. If I could rate this higher than a 5 I would. Absolutely belting! Thank you 2.5 staff, I really hope it picks up for you guys.More

Owned by lovely couple who speak good english. We ordered crab as one of our main dishes and the owner ordered in some live crabs from nearby. Yummy.
