Great diner, great view, great chef!

We had a great diner in this restaurant. We had a nice chat with the chef. The food and wine were fantastic and we had a great night. Highly recommended!

Amazing place to enoy a high quality diner in Arusha

Unique place in Arusha to enjoy a high quality diner, with a beautiful view. The staff highly trained and the menu is a great combination of local ingredients prepared with a European touch. DO NOT MISS THIS

I stayed at Onsea for accommodation and their food. Service is impeccable, views are impossible to beat (the sunsets are to die for - enjoy them with a cold beer by the pool or the outdoor lounge). Little known fact: many of the staff here...are former street kids that are trained through a special college and given opportunity at Onsea - the staff are so lovely, so amazing, they make this whole experience all the much better. Do yourself a favour and come stay here, or simply come grab a cocktail around sunset. Other perk: the birds around here are amazing, diverse and so beautiful. Worth noting: this place is slightly out of town, which makes its charm in a way. If you can grab a hold of Axel the owner, ask him about his private cooking for lavish safari tours ;) THANK YOU ONSEA AND AXELMore

best place to stay in Arusha

There are some hotels located more centrally, but Machweo / Onsea is significantly nicer and well worth staying with!

Great culinary experience

We found Onsea on Trivadvisor and trusted those opinions. We wrote to Onsea overnight and was promptly notified of a table reservation. The restaurant looks stunning during sunset. We were lucky to meet Axel the boss (Axel Flying Chef) - an amazing personality and a...fantastic person. Dinner is a fantastic set menu in 2 variants. Each of the dishes was delicious and beautifully presented on the plate. Truly amazing dinner. We will come back for sure. While visiting Arusha you NEED TO GO there.More

brilliant lodge in arusha

we spent one night in this amazing hotel, the are very welcoming, the food was very nice and sweet with the view of Arusha city its like seeing it all in one from one place

A special place

Just for one night, we wanted to escape the hustle and bustle of Arusha for a special evening and found the perfect place!!! A wonderful retreat of African / French / Belgium infusion which rewarded us with local fresh produce in a calm and tranquil...setting. Axel was personable and made us feel very welcome. Enjoyed all the familiar courtesies of a 5 star restaurant experience, presented by a professional and comfortable African hospitality service team. Wonderful food (we tried everything!!!) and delightful wine combinations. Thank you so much. Highly recommend.More

Amazing location and view, magic atmosphere, delicious food and more. The place to be in Arusha.

Onsea house is the place you want to be in when you first arrive in Arusha. And in the middle of your trip. And before leaving! It’s a lovely place with great atmosphere and vibe, the staff is super pleasant and attentive and the chef...is super talented. Finest food in Arusha!

You have to go to Onsea House if you are in Arusha! It’s an amazing restaurant and the chef, Axel, is very welcoming. You will find a good variety of dishes and excellent products. The big plus of the place : the view and the...tranquility. 100% recommended !More

Great Dinner in Arusha

What a relief to finally find a good, interesting restaurant in Arusha. The food is very good, the scenery is outstanding, and they can accommodate vegetarians and omnivores alike.
