We stayed at the Spices and Herbs Ethiopian Restaurant and Lodge for almost a month. Our visit was terrific! The prices were reasonable. The staff was friendly and very attentive and accommodating. The food was fresh and delicious. Our rooms were cleaned regularly. The atmosphere...and location were very pleasant. We would recommend the Spices and Herbs to our friends and we hope to return again.More
A really excellent Ethiopian restaurant. If you are in Arusha I would definitively recommend this place for lunch or dinner. A good menu, great food and friendly service in a very relaxed atmosphere
Extremely delicious food. The njira are glutenfree and very tasteful (and ad-libitum). Overall a very delightful experience. The food looks much better IRL than on the Picture.
I had two nights in Arusha staying at Sheraton but came to eat dinner there as I am an Ethiopian and like to eat my home food from time to time. The food is delicious, the ambiance is amazing. the owner tries his best to...make the gusts feel at home and made the garden really beautiful to make anyone's stay relaxing, the fire place and the friendly service offers extra comfort for an evening hangout.More

Wonderful Ethiopian food and warm, attentive service. There's also a cool fire pit in the outdoor dining area. Highly recommend!
This was my dinner place the all time i was at Arusha, the cast waiters and the whole hotel management is lovely. you oder your food and you get it in 15 minutes.
Spices and Herbs is a okay restaurant. Food took way to long to be served waited about 45 mins. for simple dishes. My meal of injera and spinach was kind of bland. If I return, I will order their lentils and see if they can...truly live up to their name. Waitress was very nice and patient with our party of 4.More
Ethiopian restaurant is among great places for eating. My friend and I we went to eat lunch and we ate Injera,Ethiopian dishe was very good. Also the service was great. Highly recommend them
Spices & Herbs is one of the MOST vegetarian-friendly restaurants in a Arusha. The friendly staff serve up tasty dishes with a smile. I highly recommend dining on the terrace for a lovely experience. Excellent WiFi service as well!
I dined alone in this restaurant, I chose Ethiopian dishes, recommended by the kind waitress, the food was delicious, the restaurant was lovely and the staff very courteous and helpful, I will definitely come back, maybe to celebrate a special occasion
My wife and me wanted to eat a light meal in Arusha and decided to try this Ethiopian restaurant. The menu is wide and the choices were ok, however the place was empty at what should have been rush hour. The service was fine and...the waitress that attended us was friendly with decent English. I wouldn't specially recommend this restaurant unless eating alone is what you want.More

Nice atmosphere, friendly server, prompt service and delicious food. Nice decor adds to the ambiance. Our server recommended the combination of stewed meats to share. Wonderful and plenty for us Wazungos.
The place is nice and the food is delicious especially ethiopian spice food i recommend you try this food and waitress Elizabeth was a great server.
