Amber has a calm ambience and making it perfect for dinner with friends, date night even flying solo. The food is amazing and the service satisfactory.

Really delicious food and also very cheap (compared to European prices). Very tasty. The menu was available online but they let you get access to their Wi-Fi, so if you don’t have roaming, viewing the menu will not be a problem. Waiter was also very...nice. If you don’t have a telephone with data roaming better avoid as they don’t have a menu “due to Covid “ and you are supposed to scan a QR code. If you manage to get a connection the names on the app will not help...you. All in all we ordered whatever the waiter suggested and stuck with it. Most probably recommended if you wish to live in a old fashion half-Covid compliant (waiters are not wearing masks for example nor hand sanitizer is available ). This restaurant was one of the highlights of our trip to Arusha. It has the best food we had in Tanzania, best service, and the decor wa just exceptionally elegant. My favorite part though is the witty signs bathroom!

We used to go there quite often and I can tell it used to be better. I believe some change in ownership/management occurred. ‘Ve been there lately with a group of friends for dinner: extremely slow service, food not as good as it used to...be. We were a group of 8, ordered the 1st bottle of wine, asked for another one if the same kind, well, the one we had was the last...we ordered another bottle of a different wine, asked again for another one of the same...not available. When a waiter sees a group of 8 he/she should inform the people at the table that They have only one bottle available of the wine of their choice...More

Good kitchen and nice employees, the manager was needed however to serve our group to prevent chaos. The place is beautifull, the menu a bit standard and the quality good enough!

The fully-flavored Indian cuisine is amazing. The bar contains an impressive array of options to enjoy a libation or three. The staff is attentive and friendly. Amber is excellent venue to either catch up with friends or to have an intimate dinner and cocktail.
