I ordered Banana Bread [Rs.147.60 plus taxes] and Victoria Cake [Rs.142.85 plus taxes] from this place. The banana bread was super soft, fresh and delicious where as the Victoria cake was a bit dry and had Jam stuffed between cake.

Their baked goods are very nice, tried the bagels, coconut bun, mushroom pie and the fresh bread. All of them were nice. The sandwich wasn't great though, it was a bit salty. Overall its a great place but a bit pricey.

This bakery is located right next to the HDFC Bank of Meenakshi Bamboos in the Gachibowli area. I went there along with a friend to try their Donuts and cakes as I heard great things about it from friends. First thing is that it has...got a nice decor and great ambience. It has both indoor and outdoor seating areas. We sat inside as it was very hot outside [we went there during Lunch time around 1 p.m.]. We tried many items here like Redvelvet Donut [Rs.60 with taxes], Salted Nutella Donut [Rs.75 with taxes], Dark Chocolate Cookie [Rs.50 with taxes], Brownie [Rs.95 with taxes], Everything Bagel [Rs.50 with taxes] with Cream Cheese [Rs.50 with taxes], Custard Danish [Rs.90 with taxes] and Madras Coffee small [Rs.75 with taxes]. My favorite items here are its Donuts and Cookies. The Donuts here do not come in Circle shape but they are freshly baked and have gooey stuffing inside. None of the dishes I tried here tasted bad.More

Old Madras Baking Company has a nice penne in red sauce, and the cheese toast is good as well. Portion size per dish is more than enough for one person and the price is decent, with cost of about 1000 bucks for a meal for...two people. The ambience of this place is pleasant, though I found the chairs to be a little uncomfortable. I would have given Old Madras Baking Company four stars but for the milkshakes that were a disappointment - they were too icy and there were no options for fresh fruit milkshakes apart from the ice cream and brownie based ones. Very good bakery, excellent breads and dessert. The banana and carrot cakes are just awesome! So are their breads. Haven't tasted the fast food yet though.
