My partner and I come to Zoe’s on a weekly basis now - it’s a great little dive for breakfast and lunch. The service is great, the employees are friendly, and the food is always excellent. The owners do a great job keeping this place...up.More
We ate there3 or 4 mornings in a row. And would have eaten there again if we were still in town. Killer Greek Omelets
It was our first time to a zoe’s Kitchen and it was a nice surprise! I found the chicken kebabs to be delicious and the tzatziki sauce to be delicious. Kids meal was also a very healthy portion and grilled versus fried. Overall I found...the options to be on the healthier side for our entire family. I would go again.More
This place is 100 yards from my new house, and I just happened upon it as I was driving the area; it's tucked away in a residential area. It's just perfect. They've made it look very 50s, very retro. It has an outside terrace/garden which...must be wonderful in the summer. The food (I only had breakfast) is awesome, and very cheap. I've had an omelet and the English Breakfast and both were great. Very good service and low cost. I love this place. Oh YES, and they have free WiFi and a TV.More
Thank you
We stopped in today for the first time in a while. The corn pancakes dry and tasted like a mix. More concerning was the place has gone from quaint and cute to cluttered. The waitress appeared quite nervous. My wife’s three eggs scrambled were also...dry.More
My husband had been here before & wanted to treat me to breakfast out. I had the French French Toast--ham and melted brie between slices of French toast. Delicious!! My husband had the Baked Potato Omelette. The was none left on his plate. We loved...the vintage kitchen tables. I would definitely go back again. The service was quick and the food was hot.More
Thank You for your review. We really appreciate it.
my family and I love this place. The owner did a great job making this place feel like a vintage 50s breakfast spot inside a house, and the home style cooking cant be beat. lovely owner and staff. delicious home baked goods and breakfast/lunch menu....there is a gentleman in the back of the place who creates beautiful jewelry & his workshop/store is worth stopping into. Love Zoes!More
Thank you
Zoe’s has the best Mexican omelette and the BEST avocado Burgers. I love going there friendly staff and they have a home style vibe. Bring your friends and family!!!
Thank you!
Everything started out great with fresh orange juice. The breakfast was room temperature, the service was mediocre and their dining room is looking very run down. Our past visits were very good but we would not return.
Please explain?
Small restaurant but great place to eat good food. Everything fresh and tasty. The people really care and pass this on to their customers in good service and friendliness. Must try their breakfast.
Thank you 😊
I would highly recommend this place. I swear it has my Grandmother's kitchen table! Cute, old fashioned type of diner. I had a delicious omelette with potatoes. Off the beaten path, so you really have to look for it. Parking on the street. Cute and...nostalgic, with reasonable priced food.More
Thank you
Quaint quirky little space kept well and clean for the most part. Recommending the fisherman's platter with sausages as a good fill up. My wife likes the English breakfast although the tomatoes seem to be store-bought rather than NJ yummy. Also the scrambled egg omelette...like breakfast called the Mess is an interesting deconstruction of your usual omelette-basically a traditional jersey breakfast scrambled into some eggs-recommend a little hot sauce. Their pancake specials are also very good. I am a big fan of the corn pancakes And you can substitute items on the menu (for an additional cost) as your taste directs you. There are plenty of diners that are OK in pretty good along the way to Sandy Hook, but this is the best we found-a little off the main drag in a neighborhood on Center StreetMore
First time to Zoe’s. Service was friendly although ice teas were never refilled. Food was cooked to order and both of enjoyed- shrimp salad special and grilled chicken wrap special Will return for sure!
This is an old-fashioned luncheonette like I remember from early childhood - it even smells the same, which really triggers a positive response with me. However, the last three times we visited, the service was so poor I cannot recommend. We sat outside and waited...so long for just menus that I ended up walking inside and getting them myself. No apology from anyone. Every step of the service was painful, from long delays in ordering, to no coffee until food arrived, to no silverware once we finally got food, to a 20-minute wait for the check. In all, breakfast - which should take 30 minutes for 2 people, tops - took nearly 2 hours. If this was a unique event I could forgive it, but it was like this the last three visits. We keep wanting to try again, we want to like this likable place, but nothing is worth getting so aggravated. PS: I posted a similar review on Yelp, and the owner emailed me her profound apologies. She offered to send me a gift certificate for a free breakfast for our trouble, which I thought was very nice. THE GIFT CERTIFICATE NEVER CAME. Not good.More
