Me & family of 3 (total 4, two rooms) stayed Si. Regis to celebrate my wedding anniversary, room was beautiful. We all had Chinese breakfast Set in Drawing Room, fresh fruit juice, fresh food, breads， dim sum & Abalone congee & coffee. Located on the 96/floor of the St Regis - We had a 360 view of Shenzhen. There was a minimum charge of CNY230 per head which you can use at any of the hotel restaurants and bars. We needed to pay this in advance before...going up to the bar. Attentive staff. Lovely ambience. Great drinks. Highly recommend the Yan Bloody - St Regis version of a Bloody Mary. After a long await I finally made it to the Drawing Room and could not wait to take in the spectacular views. The views are great and the overall setting is elegant, comfortable and welcoming. While sitting down to enjoy a nice afternoon break I...was sadly waiting nearly 5 minutes, nobody approached me so I started to ask for the menu myself. The table behind me started watching a tv show on their mobile phone with high volume and nobody acted on it, so I moved tables as I don’t relax while a tv show blasts in my ear. While sitting and enjoying my cappuccino and cake which both tastes very good, I noticed the large amount of wear and tear. Which for such a new hotel was surprising. The sofa next to me has fabric coming loose and the large standing lamps have damage at the base and lamp shade. For a St Regis I expect the details to be spot on but sadly these were missed. Easy to fix but it did show a lesser overall experience. Also the party on the upper deck was loud. Lots of clapping, loud talking and laughing. Not sure it was a wedding or private booking up there but was disrupting.More
