CAPRI ITALIAN RESTAURANT, Shenzhen

A terrible experience! On Sunday night the restaurant was empty: just 2 of us for the entire night. The gentle waiters let us sit and eat at the terrace; at least we enjoyed the best of the restaurant: the view! Being recommended as the best...Italian restaurant in town (is it so cheap to be ranked so high?), I had great expectations, but they vanished as soon as I read the menu: bolognaise, spaghetti, … very little choice and nothing special at all! One immediately understands that there is really no idea of Italian cooking in the kitchen! Simply a basic menu of a PRETENDING TO BE ITALIAN RESTAURANT. The wine list was also shocking: 4 red, 4 white wines among them just one Italian each. My suggestion to the guests is to go there just for the view. My suggestion to TripAdvisor: create a list of “Pretending to be Italian Restaurant”. An Italian name is not sufficient to qualify it as Italian restaurant!More

Lovely food, service and setting

The food and drink were delicious and the setting next to the beach was idyllic. The service was excellent, in particular from the manager Amy Lin and we would strongly recommend to anyone in the area.

Dinner at Capri

I just came to have a dinner and i order beef tenderloin, and i like that. And because i come around 6pm so i still can saw the beach, feels relaxed

Great brunch

Highly recommend Sunday brunch, live music, great selection of food, unlimited drinks for 80rmb. Guests can enjoy beach and pool facilities.More

Not cool...

I'm sure it's a great restaurant. However, I made reservations for a Monday. I must have not seen that they were closed on Monday so when we got there, of course, we were not able to fulfill our reservations. However, I made them 6 days...before the day I wanted,that is plenty of time to send an email or make a call explaining the mistake. The reservations were for our first year wedding anniversary...something I even said on the reservation. Very not cool.More

A real splendid gem of a restaurant

My wife and I have visited Capri several times, and every time we couldn't be more pleased with our experience. The food quality, presentation, and level of professionalism is just splendid, and yummy to say the least. The restaurant itself is top notch in interior...design and topped off with tall windows overlooking the sea, beach, and surrounding mountains - just absolutely breath taking views while you enjoy the great food and service. The last time, Mr. Ray Wen, went out of his way to provide my mother in law who was here on holiday with an extra special experience, and she found it to be amazing. Thank you Ray!More
