Restos have just started to resume very recently (after covid-19 business shut down). Therefore I picked Paletto - an Italian resto at The Ritz-Carlton to celebrate my birthday. It turned out to be a really really good choice. Foods and services are perfect! One of...the top western styles in town of course. The staff were really professional and caring. I just mentioned that it was my birthday and then they prepared a surprise birthday celebration for me lol!!! Ohh the girls Viyoung and Stephanie are very sweet and considerate (pretty too:) Even though all of us were wearing masks). The senior director of Paletto - Andre is from Portugal. He couldn't go back home during this time :( I hope covid spreading in Europe will stop very soon so that more European friends can travel to China and resume their daily life. Waited 30 minutes (really) for drinks and there were literally no more than 20 people in the restaurant. Food took 2 hours!!!! And when it finally came it wasn’t good. They try to make you feel it’s a fancy restaurant but food is terrible and...service is worse. They did give a 30% discount but would not recommend at all. Stayed 2 nights in Ritz Carlton and was fine but this restaurant was not worth the time.More

The food's competing textures in the gnoccci with the beans was distracting and unecessary. The rissotto had a very nice flavor but too al dente. We stayed with water because a house glass was 148 rmb. The chef seems very interested to do a good...job. But for now I would give him time to build the flavor and texture profile in each dish.More

The atmosphere is elegant and relaxed, service is excellent as well as their wine list. This is a very laid back but refined Sunday brunch with table service.The food was fabulous and the service second to none. I like the concept of having a choice of set courses, but with the ability to also take advantage of the selection of...food from the brunch in the adjacent Flavorz. As it was there was more than sufficient food from the set courses. The seafood platter was brilliant and I thoroughly enjoyed the beef Wellington and the Bombe Alaska. The meal came with a free flow of Ca' del Bosco Cuvee Prestige as a perfect accompaniment. We will be back.More

Went here for a business dinner. Place has a quiet atmosphere for talking and the food was also amazing. Chef made us an amazing linguini with lobster tail. Highly recommend it. Will go back again.
