A pleasant little place to go for a "safe" experience for good, honest food... Situated down a little road way on the right hand side, bright blue and white chairs dominate the courtyard area where you are seated. The cooking area is behind the wall of the courtyard, and the chefs are incredibly industrious considering the little area that they... More

On behalf of the 50 or 60 customers who don't write a review but come to Genevieve's every day, I hope that we are more than 'a pleasant little place to go for a "safe" experience for good, honest food'. These customers have said that our amok, lok and red chicken curry are "amazing", "excellent", "delicious". Many other of our... More

We ended going for lunch on our last day in Cambodia as they were fully booked for dinner the night before. So make sure you book a table for dinner. The food and service was excellent. There were 3 diners but we only ordered 2 starters. When Phil the owner saw only 2 diners were eating he immediately came over... More

I had a delightful dinner here, with a tasty dessert. The owner also talked about some of the charities the restaurant supports, and the staff include at risk youth. One of the former street kids working there with ambitions of entering the music scene sang for us in both English and Khmer (and was very talented).

We're glad you enjoyed your experience at Geneviev's. As I've said before, our staff love to hear what the customers think about their work. If I could clarify one point - Sovy, our waiter who sings, has never been a street kid. He does have an interesting background but I don't want to mislead anyone by suggesting that we hire... More

We had dinner three twice and it was excellent!! The menú is not too broad which makes it easier to choose. The local food was delicious. The staff is marvellous, very friendly and willing to teach you a bit of Kemer, if you are interested. The Australian owner is also very friendly and comes round the tablas for a chat,... More

Found this place through Trip Advisor and what a find! The restaurant is a nice cozy corner with a great staff that is eager to fine tune their English. The food was very good and very well priced! I had a meal from the local dishes (Chicken Amok), but for those who want some western comfort, they have you covered.... More

Dinner here was great! We ordered the curry and lok lak, both of which were amazing. We ate at Haven the night before and we thought the lok lak was better at Genevieve's. The dessert here is really what separates this restaurant from others in SR. We ordered the Snowy Banana and the Mango Crepe - definitely try both! No... More

The young lady who served me was very attentive without being overly solicitous. She also had a great sense of humour. The chicken amok was delicious. Too add any more comments would be superfluous.

Our NGO chose Genevieve's for the volunteers' Christmas dinner this year because it is such a lovely experience to wander down the little alleyway and find yourself in a secluded outdoor restaurant area where service is exemplary, food is generously served and beautifully prepared and there is even a singing waiter with a lovely voice. Because there were a number... More

Stumbled upon Genevieves recently and thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The restaurant not only gives a lot back to the local community but also serves excellent home cooked food at very reasonable prices. Some of their staff will often surprise guests with live performances and entertainment. Well worth a try.

We enjoyed our meal here, it's not all linen tablecloths and attitude, just good food, friendly service and the prices are fair, for casual dining. Made to feel very welcome by the owner, who obviously takes great pride in the place and the staff, who are very friendly and attentive. Enjoyed the singing waiter, especially the Cambodian song , sung... More
