We ate dinner there. Service was great as always in the area, but sadly the food was a let down. Rice was lumpy and the mains lacked flavour. My mum always told me to avoid restaurants with pictures of the dishes! Maybe I should have listened.

Food was great - I had fried rice, which was wonderfully presented in a hollowed out pineapple. The fans running makes for a nice refreshing cool off.

Had lunch here on the first day touring pub street. It was so hot that the aircon upstairs was such a refreshing relief from the heat. I had the Khmer noodles which was delicious, with lots of fresh veggies! My husband had their fried rice which was nicely presented in a pineapple, which was also delicious.. washed it down with... We had had a hot morning walking around the temples and were in need of a sit-down in air-conditioned comfort for a leisurely lunch. That's exactly what we enjoyed at the Champey. The decor was a bit rustic, or homey, but the Cambodian cuisine was excellent.

We went here as part of a small group tour, & often with prearranged menus the food can be hit & miss. However, Champey restaurant provided a great meal & service in a busy restaurant

we went for lunch to champey restaurant...we sat down...we get the menucard...we saw the prices...we told the waiter that we don´t want to pay 4 dollar for a fruitshake and other horrible prices for simple food...stood up...and went to the restaurant next door...there it was 200 % cheaper.

Group tour guide recommended this place. As it was our last night in Siem Reap and after a hard day's sightseeing, we decided to give it a try. We had two large local beers for 50 cents each and a Singapore Sling cocktail which was delicious and quite potent! All food seems to be freshly prepared as we had to... More

Just popped out for something to eat (9.00 pm) and this place was near the hotel. I had the Champney fried rice and my wife had a chicken curry (she asked for spicy). Service was excellent (thank you Sing) and the food was most enjoyable. Even offered wine by the glass. Not as busy as the restaurants on Beer St,... More
