Had a perfect dinner with the family

A night to remember

As usual, and continuing for the last 21 years, this restaurant still amazes me. -The food is amazing, Chef Mushtaq is fabulous (as usual), and his lobster and shrimps cooked up to perfection. -Chef Basel and the chicken shawarma is another happy story. -Desserts section...has a great variety and it was great to end our dinner with their cake. The hospitality was extremely friendly, having Winnie and Louis around all the time. The live music was amazing and cheerful. In short, it was "A night to remember"More

Mom’s Birthday Dinner Buffet

Booked for a dinner buffet at spice island with our famiky and friends to celebrate mom’s birthday. Food selection was good and there were plenty to choose from. Live cooking with fresh crayfish was an added plus. Samantha was assisting us and accommodated all our...requests, including organizing the band to sing a surprise birthday song for mom. Flaming Friday Buffet ended up a Flaming disaster

Tasteless / Bland food experience with limited options. Went for their advertised " Flaming Friday" buffet. Lovely advised picture of beef steaks and skewers - well good luck seeing any of that food actually on the menu. Spice Island was once a fantastic dining experience...but has been on a downward spiral for years. There are much better dining options in Dubai and would advise people to skip this restaurant until a major overhaul by management is made.More
