My husband and I visited Carnival by Tresind as part of Dubai Food Festival. The current offer is a 5 course tasting menu plus sorbet for 150dhs. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great and the service was excellent, the waiters were on top of everything and our waiter Kuldeep was extremely attentive and friendly. Each course was excellent and we were surprised that the portion sizes were quite large considering it was a tasting menu. They definitely save the best until last with the dessert! The only downside of the entire experience was that it was quite cold (it may just have been where we were sat). But apart from that we loved the food and experience and will definitely return

I went last week to Carnival by Tresind located at Burj Daman in DIFC to try their Winter Menu. The Winter Menu is a set Menu Veg or Non Veg priced at Dhs 195 per person. It was as usual a great experience. The taste and quality of the food is always outstanding at Carnival by Tresind and on each new menu, I am impressed by the new creations done by the chef. Let’s start with the Amuse Bouche, a Bao Bhaji with a Coriander Lemon Soup served in a tea cup! And now let’s enjoy the Appetisers! The Atom Bomb! A delicious rajkachori presented in a different way. It was super yummy! These are the Momo-Fuku, a mouthwatering chicken momos. The Kothu Parotta, a crispy paratha with chicken kurma. So delicious… Look at this beautiful presentation! It is called the Hot Sauce Nation, shrimps with light crackers. It is time now for the Main Courses. The first dish is the Bocuse d’Or. I loved the name of this dish. It is made with Chicken Tikka Masala, Red Wine, Pearl Onions and Mushrooms. It was scrumptious! You won’t be able to stop eating till the dish is empty completely 😋 Divine! The Jinga Lala, a home style prawn curry. The curry was so flavorful that I made sure to eat it all 😉 The Daal Makhani is always so good at Carnival by Tresind! And the Baked Potato, it was tasty with the sweet and sour curry cheese. Reaching the end of the experience, my friend enjoyed their traditional signature dessert. The Gajak! Caramel, Peanut, Chocolate, Brownies and Ice Cream prepared in front of you at the table. The Winter Menu is a must try experience at Carnival by Tresind!

Business lunch @carnivalbytresind option of Non veg or veg for Aed 89 per person incl tax for a set menu. A modern take on Indian food and boy the starters wowed us. Our favourites from the starters were the Puli inji (Ginger prawns in pepper and caramelized palm sugar) and the Papdi Tacos (get ready to eat the most messiest delicious Indian 🌮) Sorbet to cleanse the pallet was surely welcome after the spicy ginger prawns but oh so delicious. From the mains our favourite was the Fish tajinj (coconut milk based fish curry gravy). Mains were served with rice and plenty of naan and small pancake shaped dosa type bread to go with the fish. We were full and couldn’t finish off the mains. The dessert had a banana yoghurt icecream, pieces of fig cake, besan ladoo granola with boondi crisp... representation of the fusion of Indian sweets which this restaurant has attempted to spin. Not much of Indian sweets fan but this was light and small so ate off my friends dessert too 😀. So what if I was full and couldn’t eat more - who leaves dessert 😜 Great value for money with excellent food - not the typical level of spiciness that some Indian cuisine is known for. Perfect for anyone who can handle slightly spicy and enjoy the flavors.

Table for 2 for a birthday dinner on a Wednesday night. Both opted for non-veg tasting menu. Realised upon getting home that one of the live dishes (momos) on the menu was not served live even though the menu said it should be and we were not offered tea from the karak bike at the end. Figured it must be a special occasion place as literally every table had a birthday celebration which was almost embarrassing. I found the atmosphere somewhat lacking and the ladies toilets did not smell good upon entering. With regards to the food, none of the multiple dishes was outstanding. As a huge lover of Indian food I was reminded by most of the dishes of the taste of a mediocre takeaway. Very heavy on spice but it tasted like sauce or powder as opposed to fresh chilli. My husband has been up all night vomiting (Happy Birthday!) though I am fine so I recommend those with a sensitive stomach do not attend. The happy hour cocktails we ordered as an aperitiv were of an incredibly low standard, not just for Dubai. Service was ok. Was not impressed by live servings (of just 2 dishes) which could only be described as lacklustre. I regret booking this restaurant and will not be returning. Price was actually ok for the location at 831 AED for 2 incl a bottle of wine and a 20% discount with ENBD but I prefer to spend 200AED on our usual takeaway in future (if I can ever convince my husband to eat Indian food again).

Hello Food Lovers, and specially Brunches scouts; One of the worst brunches in the UAE if not the worst. The restaurant is stingy in the quantities although the serving is basic ingredients. We barely tasted anything and it was a mission to request a repeat from every dish. Ended up ordering alacart in addition to the brunch because it was a very awkward situation with our guests. It was slow and way bad than you think. For sure it is not recommended for a brunch and for alacart it’s over priced for the cuisine. The food taste and the live music specifically was the best part, but many places in Dubai offer the performance specially in Indian or Asian restaurant. This Brunch place is a big No! It’s a mistake that I would always regret. Additional note if you have RakBank you would get a 25% off the 170 non alcoholic or 350 alcoholic, the non alcoholic includes only still water not even sparkling. And the drinks are below average. Regards, The food lover

Amazing dining experience and amazing food. We decided to have the taster menu and so glad we did. Plenty of high quality Indian food. The waiting staff cook the food at your table on portable cooking stations and explain what there are doing and what ingredients they are adding. Very good service throughout. The menu here is changed regularly so the delicious food is always different. Very highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

In the newfound lala land of Molecular Gastronomy and Fusion Food, Carnival by Tresind is not only spectacular, it is economical as well, which makes it accessible to everyone. The food is nothing short of extraordinary, while the presentation and creativity takes it several notches up. The business lunch is a must, as it gives you several dishes to try in a single sitting. The place is large, yet can get busy! Go on an empty stomach, because you'd want to have everything in the menu.

From entering to seating to the menus. Everything was greatly serviced and showpieced. Menu was inside a party box with a balloon in the middle of the table. Great show for starter vada pav where a waiter came as a builder came with a toolbox where the vada pav was made at the table with the toppings we chose. Food was excellent! However all just a tad pricey for what it is. For 2 people with 2 starters 2 mAins and 2 drinks (no dessert) we paid over £175! Otherwise great!

We went for Friday brunch. Food was very good with both vegetarian and regular options on the set menu. For once, the vegetarian diner had an equal experience to the meat eater. A good selection of drinks and excellent service. Dessert was a live plated showpiece, which is a nice touch but an unnecessary one - we would have preferred dessert in bowls! The downside was that the music was an excessively loud and very random selection that included Peter Andre and Bob Marley. There was also a singer but he didn't enhance our experience at all and was scruffily dressed too. Tea and coffee are not included in the package, despite the top end price. Maybe when the restaurant relocates to Souk Al Bahar shortly and has to compete with the excellent food and service at Patiala, they will take these negative points into account.

Been meaning to dine here for yearssss. I remember seeing Carnival being built having a client living in the same complex. Not particularly welcoming on the phone when I received a confirmation call on the day of the booking. Pushed to get there as bookings after but it was quite spacious. The decor was exceptional. Ornamental trees decorated around the restaurant. Samuel our waiter was enthusiastic to say the least. Was helpful and knowledgeable on the menu. We ordered the potato samosa dished with curried channa. As a main I had the chicken tikka masala while my wife had the butter chicken. We shared a plain biryani and a garlic naan and paratha. The food was served pretty quickly but was delicious. 1 of the best Indian meals I've had in some time. We used the 'Entertainer' buy 1 get 1 free but when requesting the bill the waitor (not Samuel) ignored the discount and tried to charge the full price! Good food, good location & decor. Not the cheapest but delicious

We decided to celebrate our daughters 8th birthday at Carnival by Tresind and we were in for a treat. The ambience was cozy and we were very impressed. The presentation was out of the world, the food was melt in the mouth goodness while beverages were refreshing. The hospitality of the hosts was remarkable. We were personally cared for by the gracious manager Mr Riteish. He is gem of a person and made our visit totally memorable. The birthday girl was surprised by a special song dedicated to her by the wonderful performers of the day. We unanimously enjoyed every bite of our meal which was of utmost quality and the price is reasonable considering the food variety and quality. The desert was the highlight of the day which was deftly presented on our table and left us all mesmerized. We definitely loved this place and can’t wait to return.

We ate at Carnival as part of Dubai Restaurant Week and what a dining experience we had. The food was incredible and our experience was made all the better thanks to our fantastic waiter, Samuel. He gave us great recommendations and was truly passionate about the food. I highly recommend the boiling skull cocktail. The lamb chops to start were cooked to perfection. The butter chicken for the main was delicious and extra bread was provided to really enjoy the sauce and for desert, we recommend the Gajak, caramel peanuts, chocolate. The menu is so creative and puts a unique spin on each dish. We’ll definitely be back!

We came 8 people for Valentine's Day. The only menu available was a set one. 2 years ago I found this restaurant to be one of the best for the food, for its service, but now, we were very disappointed. The set menu was average and all dishes were extremely spicy. Even if I told them I have some health problems and I am not allowed to eat spicy, they said '' ok, we'll resolve it'' but no, everything came the same way. The ambiance is nice, music ok, location ok. Tips: try to avoid the events when they have set menus and go for the regular one!
