Absolutely the best restaurant in Kragujevac. Decorated in traditional style, with folk menu and good service. For every bit of praise. I've been there before and I'll come again.

Great selection of local dishes, very nicely presented in a traditional ambient of the restaurant.
From the starters to the main course all plates were spot on, nicely presented.
I could easily recommend this place any time.

Traditional, tasty food. One of the best places in the city. Etno style reastaurand with good meny. Not many people go there, so there is almost always a table available

The Vodenica restaurant in Kragujevac is generally an interesting place. The interior is very well designed - traditional elements, the atmosphere as though you are in a mill etc.
However, the food was quite disappointing. The meat in the main course was simply awful - pljeskavica was slim and tasteless and the chicken was so dry I could hardly swallow it. As a side dish I had some weird combination of potato and God knows what, which was also not so pleasant to eat. The white cheese was tart.
To add an interesting info, the restaurant is not vegetarian friendly. When you say you are a vegetarian, they bring you fish :)

The food, service and atmosphere was just like you expect Serbian restaurant should be. When we had dinner there, a Serbian company (~20 person) was celebrating something, and that really completed the atmosphere.

Full meal experience. I was not sorry to spend money on the contrary I was glad. Fully recommend to everyone who visit Kragujevac. Must try.!!!

In this tipical restaurant, not far away from the city centre, I had the best fillet steak of the city, godd quality and perfect cooking. Prices in line with average range in Kragujevac.

I advice all visitor if you visit kolasin you must visit vodenica.you never regret

If you want to meet Serbia in shortest time you should visit Vodenica. One place offer all, worm hospitality, cozy ethnic interior, variety of mouth watering Serbian food, evening live music and all that for really affordable price. Leave your tummy and soul empty before you walk in, you will get out completely filled. This is written by someone who enjoyed Vodenica’s offer on several occasions, it is not marketing hoax. Like any other treasury bit “hidden”, need better advertising- directions how to find it. Highly recommended!!!
