Just another fast food joint. Pure grease, not woth the 5 Euros, make sure to get lots of napkins for all the oil.

So good!! We went back twice and both times they were fantastic. Freshly made and great quality - highly recommend the spinach and cheese
This is a typical national dish in the balkans. It is very tasty and in "holy burek" they make it fresh, you can watch them there how they make and bake it, its a delicious snack for your walk by. must try when you are...in Dubrovnik!More
A friend who is Croatian said that I need to try the burek. And I did and can I only say boy do I love it. It's great food for walking around Dubrovnik. I tried the cheese and leek. . I was stopped after one.... I wish I had stomach space for a second one. Spouse got the chicken. They were so darn tasty.More
The best snacks in town by far. Very filling, there are a few choices, and very fresh. We went back every day, and its the first place i would go back to on returning to Dubrovnik
So good!!! I arrived in the afternoon and needed a snack to tide me over. I tired the cheese and leek and it was amazing…crispy and flaky outside, cheesy and pillowy inside. So much flavor! The guy at the counter was really friendly too. I’ll...definitely be back for another during my stay!! 😉More
Well priced at E5 and 6, a delicious snack (cheese spinach) split between DH and I. The guys are friendly and hard working.
We found this place down a side street in the old town and joined the queue outside. Waiting was part of the treat as it gave me an opportunity to watch the process...a Croatian nearby was amazed that the people could do such a good...job of this national speciality. There were several flavours on offer all priced at €5 and €6.More
Among all overpriced restaurant inside Dubrovnik wall, this place could be the solution. It is freshly made onside (all other places on my whole trip did not). Owner mentioned that their no. 1 seller is cheese and spinach. We tried beef burek and like tasty...minced meat and flaky pasty. Compared to many tourist trap places near "stairs of shame" selling 16-18 euros (you pay 6 euro extra for fries), this place seem at 5-6 euros for each burek. A lot of people on this narrow alley holding stick like burek with good smell attract more customers for sure.More
Highly underrated. Given the constant queen in front of the restaurant and the quality of the food. People are holding it all around
Burek is a common, generally savoury pastry here which you can buy in most bakeries. Here you pay approx 35 kuna (around 5 euros for one) which is double the price of most bakeries outside the walls but its worth it. It isn't curled round...but straight as a stick, which makes it easier to hold and eat on the go. I tried the veal and cheese and spinach, both delicious and the right amount of warm flaky pasty for the filling. You see the bakers preparing the filo pastry by hand and this is reflected in the quality of the finished burek. Delicious and filling food on the go.More
It was my first time trying Burke and I wasn’t disappointed. Was amazing watching it getting made right in front of you. We tried the cheese Burke and it was very tasty and a great price for what your getting. The staff were friendly and...helpful and over all a great experience and a even greater lunch.More
We had a leek and cheese burek here and it was fresh and very delicious. The service was friendly and helpful. We will go back for other flavors.
I was curious to see five young men form Myanmar in this small bakery preparing filo paste manually, the way one's grandmothers used to do: it already built faithful clientele because the taste is absolutely superb. Tried a few other places, but none matches this...quality.More
The burek was old and soggy, and the service was terrible. There is just no way to split a burek in two for us?! 😂 Will definitely not ever go back there!
